I actually like it if they were going to take a QB. I think he and Rosen are the best two QBs in the draft.
But I also wouldn't have taken a QB in the first round until maybe then end of it
He’s my favorite QB In the draft, but I just thought it wasn’t the right value there. But if he’s good, I guess no one will care if they could’ve gotten him by trading down

A few thoughts:
Not really close to as dramatic as I thought it was going to last night. Things fell pretty close to where you'd think.
Fitzpatrick, James, and Landry fell which was surprising.
Denzel Ward is a top 10 player, so I'm not killing the Browns over that at all.
The starting QB of the Denver Broncos next year is either Case Keenum or Paxton Lynch.
I hate trading future first rounders for non-quarterbacks. I understand jumping 13 spots is what it costs to do that, but ooooof.
I did not like the Raiders pick of Kolton Miller. That is a project, at 15?
Derwin James to San Diego breaks my heart as a Cowboys fan. He would have been perfect. I like the guy they got Vander Esch, but I liked James more.
Frank Ragnow to the Lions. That dude's "highlights" were terrible. Was not impressed with that pick.
Ridley to the Falcons was a good pick. I wonder if that was something completely necessary for Atlanta, though.

He has legit tape. Gotta be something else to add to it. Guys are getting drafted because of their special teams play right now
No chance. His measurables would still be the same.
Something else must be up though. Maybe teams found a health concern or maybe dig up some character issue. He’s too good of a player to drop this far and none of the talking heads have even mentioned him
Hopefully AUSTIN learning a life lesson in all this.
Unless there are huge off the field red flags that we don’t know about, this was a massive failure by the entire program...
BAMA gets guys who are projected 2nd/3rd rounders to come back and become 1st rounders... or late first rounders to come back and become early first rounders
and it’s not just about whatever bags they’re dropping... that’s not the incentive - the incentive is the trust that anther year there will improve their stock
why should anyone believe that playing another year for Gus will help them when the more likely truth is, getting the fvck away from his program ASAP is the wiser choice?
