OT: 2020-2021 Boog Hoops

With all the talk of Powell getting a lot of work at the PG spot, it makes me feel like Turbo is gonna play the 2 for the most part. But I don't think he'll start. Plus, there's been reports of jamal johnson really stepping up. I kind of think you'll see him start at the 2 and D Cam start at the 3. But everything is subject to change except for Sharife and J Will imo.

I will never question Bruce, but I will be disappointed if JJ starts at the 2. I don't think I should feel that way, but I do.

Works PERFECT for me. Oldest Boog coming home early, so MY Thanksgiving gone be moved up too. Not gonna have a buncha Bam huthut fans over at my house that first day of the Boog Invitational.

Samesies. Pretty sure Sharife was in the corner on D. Intriguing lineup. Swap Devan for Jamal and that’s pretty close to my A1 boog lineup. But then you have this 6’6 sharp shootin honky with legit athleticism and handles to go along with a handful of other premium HYGs it’s just silly.

How much PT do you actually envision Turbo getting? If both freshmen are the real deal and Flanny has improved, I don't see much time for Turbo.

That’s a toughy with the glowing reports that have come out on Jamal and the young chaulk. If Jamal is taking mins at 2 and Powell at 1 there wouldn’t seem to be a ton of mins left to go around for Turbo. Oh well blueblood problems.

Ok so I hate these kinds of things but....

There’s some honk on 247 Boog board talking about hearing of eligibility issues for Sharife. There’s another poster on the bunk who’s been hinting at something going on with coop and that Powell will be PG1 come 1st game. I swear if we have to deal with anymore of this bullshit imma flip

someone tell me our champion HYG is gonna be ok

Well I don’t like that. Have a hard time believing we could get caught up in some BS like this again though.

Had seen some extreme honkery from the boogosphere about Powell looking better at PG than Sharife in practice but I just dismiss that as redneck nonsense.

Sharife’s dad is an agent and has a partnership with a rapper (Lil Wayne maybe, can’t remember) , his sister is engaged to Dwight Howard. They’re a fairly wealthy family

Jamal's D is gonna have to be insanely better to take significant time at the 2, he was lost out there last year. with all the youth and inexperience i'm sure we'll see a ton of rotation.
