OT: 2021 Non Boog CFB thread

Georgia didn't look great, but after Ark ran the only 4 play in their book, they got their clocks cleaned. i see the boogs as +10 to the dawgs.

The vaunted Kentucky Wildcat OLine has helped rack up 105 yards and 7 first downs through 3 qtrs against the Pirates stud D.

Is it just me or do others think Bama beats UGA pretty easily?

They are home and nearly a TD fave so I’m sure many feel just like you. I like UGA’s D more than Bama’s but Bama’s O is badass. I won’t be surprised either way, and I won’t be surprised it goes the opposite way when they play for the Championship later on.

I'm talking about a win by double digits, probably by 2 TDs or more

100% agree that UGA's defense is better than Bama's, but we don't know what UGA will do against an offense that is even partially explosive, much less the juggernaut that Bama's offense has been so far. They have played three of the worst offenses in the SEC so far. I just don't see UGA having the offensive fire power to hang with Stetson Bennett at QB.

I definitely could be wrong, but I could see a 35-21 type of score.

Not opposed to any of that. 2 TD games can happen often on late plays. Just not convinced it will be “Easy” as you suggested.

Yea, easy probably wasn't the correct term. Decisive is probably what I should have said

I don’t doubt it. As bad as UGA humiliated us, I won’t be shocked if Bama handles them decisively in round one.

If UGA doesnt win this game, I could still see UF beating UGA and making the SECCG.

UF looks to have an elite offense

Very possible. UF looks to have a great offense.
UGA looks to have a great D, but it Is probably skewed by facing Bo and our O. And UGA seems to have an average O...but that could be skewed by facing our D??

I will not be surprised. That being said, Ole Miss ran the ball on bama. If UGA can run the ball and control time of possession then it might be a close game. Hard to imagine UGA keeping up with bama scoring-wise, but also wouldn't be surprised if bama allows it to be close by running the ball a lot too.

For UGA to win, I think their D would have to come up with several turnovers and their O can't turn the ball over. I don't think it is likely, but also not impossible.

I think Ole Miss was able to run the ball on them because of the big threat of their passing game.

A&M and Mizzou wasn't able to run the ball well on them because the lack of passing game.

In complete agreement that UGA needs turnovers to have a chance to win

That's fair and probably correct. I will say that I wasn't impressed with UGA's OL when they played Arky, but they manhandled our OL more than UK did and UK was supposed to have one of the best OLs in the conference.

Again, certainly wont be surprised if bama blows them out.

I didn’t watch the game but after seeing UK’s stats against MSU, their line either has injuries or was overrated it seems.

To be fair, MSU is 2nd in total defense in the SEC giving up less than 300 YPG. And that's with an offense that has close 9 INTs in the last two games

No linky but I saw on Social Media that UF had 5 new positive tests today.

Good point with all the turnovers. I thought they looked athletic and talented against LSU even though they gave up a lot of points. points. I still think those numbers might be “high” because they’ve played two of the four worst offenses in the league.

Saw that Joey G is possibly making his Wildcat debut this weekend against UGA. Tough team to start with. I can see it playing out where the BOog defenders will let him have it if he struggles this ONE game.

So Trevor has Corona. Wonder if he plays against the Irish?? Would be so 2020 for them to luck into the playoffs this year.

With LSU being cheaper than Auburn, I don't see them paying Pelini almost $5MM to leave

Never have thought about AU being cheap when it comes to paying coaches or paying coaches to go away. Starting with Tot seems we’ve Paid a ton to get rid of people.

Meant cheap as in pulling the hook after giving a big contract and trying to fire after year 1

They were too cheap though to pay Miles buyout and hire Jimbo the year before Miles got fired

What’s this crap about a two point shootout from the three yard line going into the fifth OT? Flipped over to the Minnesota Maryland game for a second & heard it. That’s kinda like a sudden death from the FT Line in basketball in the Final Four. LMAO at the huthut.
