OT: AUBURN BASKETBALL

Hooks and Marcello are stating he is expecting to enroll when class starts at the end of August.
nice. I'm also under the belief that he won't redshirt either. Can't see the point of it. It's not football. The odds of a kid staying 5 years at hte same program in this day of age of bball are slim

Was hoping they changed the RS in b-ball like they did huthut but don’t think they did. Would have been nice to be able to play him in 10 gms or whatever and still have a RS.

Could go either way just hope he’s here for the season. Not gonna be a lot of mins for him but then again guys are gonna get dinged up and want everyone fresh for our march to the title.

JGT calls him a raw version of Horace Spencer. So he’ll probably be the best player on our team this year.
It’s well documented he’s the premiere shot blocker in children’s hoops. Could easily give us 10 mins/ gm if we needed it. Would love to see him just go out there and poke some opposing bigs in the eye or draw blood on a rebound/ loose ball whatever.

This Boog squad is gonna blow out some teams. Would be nice to give him some real minutes when Bruce can bc, like I said, there’s no way he’ll be in Boogville for 5 years. And since Austin and Horace will both be gone after this season, it’s be nice to have Stretch entering the 19-20 season with some experience under his belt

the kid is a way better offensive player than he's given credit for. Just so happens that he plays with three 5 star scoring guards in Sharife Cooper, Brandon Boston, and Isaac Okoro. If Akingbola played for a different squad, he'd put up totally different offensive numbers. I don't think he's an offensive weapon, but I definitely think he'll be knocking down some 3s like Mac in his sophomore year.

I’m really surprised that K has taken the Calipari one and done model. He’s only won one natty so it’s not like it’s a proven formula and it must be a huge headache every crootin season. I know Duke has the most talented player in the country but I can’t believe that their inexperienced, unbalanced squad are faves.

I’ll take Kentucky and Kansas over them by a mile

The responses to the Jon Rothstein tweets are absolute meltdown
