I try not to be AU homer guy and a significant part of me wants them to be decent at hoops because it keeps pressure on AU to not abandon Bruce or turn away from basketball. Our power brokers might stop caring if bama went 3-4 years without seeing the tourney.
I just don't get what anyone sees in that team right now. Especially with Avery's style of play. They still look like a team that wants to muck the game up and win ugly. That worked in the SEC 3-4 years ago outside of games vs UK and UF. I'm just not sure that gets you to .500 in league play now.
They have nobody who can create offense. I don’t see that new PG being anywhere remotely on Sextons level. Maybe that transfer they got from Texas is good. I agree I don’t think you can win a lot of games in this league playing prison ball.
