there is not a doubt in my mind BRUCE sees Gus as a deranged weirdo the same way all of us do...

if it’s obvious to a dumbass like me, it must be undeniable to a guy who’s spent his entire life procuring only the best and brightest young geniuses with which to surround himself

we were effective at times last year when we pressed full or 3/4 court, trapped once, then fell back into zone... it’s a weird look to throw at teams - and college teams for the most part fall apart against zone defenses provided your wings aren’t lazy or fall asleep

that’s my only concern about Danjel... we had a stretch last year where Desean just murdered us defensively because he was a complete liability guarding the weakside corner of the zone... he gave up huge driving lanes or wide open corner 3’s consistently for a solid 3 weeks, due to either confusion or lackadaisicalness (I wouldn’t say laziness)

other than that, I don’t really worry about the effort from the wings

maybe Mitchell didn't feel like he knew what his "role" was last year either, so that played a part in the players saying that

horace was the starter last year for the first 4-5 games I think, then got yanked for Mac. Going into his final year, I can imagine him respectfully asking Bruce what Bruce sees his role/contribution being this year and what he needs to do to make it bigger

guize...i really need bruce and his beauties to raise my morale as we enter the grey months. i'd really like to see these boys drape their balls on as many foreheads as possible.

Im very interested in the rotations and the style of play between substitutions. Its a big puzzle to put together but if Bruce can it could be amazing. Bruce was pretty upset over defense the other day though.
