OT: God hates boogs part 2 game thread

No they don't. Auburn people that matter saw it as a game where JIMBO AND TA&M shit the bed and GAVE us a win.

The contract is awful but it's not a deal breaker. Lowest level and mid level TUF money for one year, based on 40,000 season tickets, is 27.2 million dollars. That is a lot of money. And those people don't mean shit to be honest. We have 40 people/families giving 500,000 + a year. That's 20 million minimum, but in reality a shitton more. They matter. And they aren't stupid. Also, because the contract is so shitty, we would owe him 21.450 after two more years of this BS. 16.5 after 3 more years, which would get us to the second largest buyout ever in college football, behind ND's 18 mill for Charlie Weiss. FvcktardGus is gone. UT sealed his fate. And rightfully so.

I hope you are correct.

Please be right. I want to believe.

I love you

I can’t see him getting canned now unless he just gets absolutely thrashed by Uga and Bama, like lose by 40 to both of them. It’s possible but I think it’s really unlikely

mostly accurate but a lot of those contributors don't really voice their opinions on football issues, that would only be a few folks. Not sure exactly how these decisions are made though to be honest because the more I learn about finances at auburn the more I'm confused.

Im pretty confident most everybody that gives half a million or more(sans Regions Bank maybe) has an opinion on our football coach and it's heard by the AD when we get in this position. I go to a lot of AU sporting events. They don't scroll that list at Basketball, Baseball. softball, gymnastics, swimming and diving games/matches/meets. There's always an outlier. Like that 19 dude that tater loves so much MIGHT give 500k and ask for it to be earmarked for Softball, but that's not the norm. Talon peeps are heard from.

I know a few of them and many couldn't give a **** about football. That was always funny about tate to me, he's such a loser tbh.

Because of the quality product he put on the field and the quality performance he led us to yesterday? It would take Rice level thinking from people that matter to allow a “W” in that shitshow yesterday to have changed anything.

I don’t doubt that the money is there and that people still want him gone regardless. But that’s not the only thing in play. I do doubt that Steven Leath is gonna authorize Gus’ termination for 32 million after a winning season. He’s bound to this contract and now he’s got some wiggle room to justify keeping Gus around.
