I love all kinds of music. Thought we could have a thread dedicated to stuff you guys are listening to or like.
For the first time ever I am giving Poison's "Native Tongue" a listen. This is the first album without CC Deville and features a young 23 year old Richie Kotzen on guitar. AND HE IS AMAZING!! This album is so over looked because it came out in 1993 in the middle of the Grunge Era. Some great tunes. I watched some live footage from this tour, on Classic Poison tunes, Kotzen didn't play the CC solos well, he improved and missed the feel of them. Kotzen is a better over all player, but CC's style on those earlier tunes were critical. He should have done a truer version of those lead lines.
Similar to Poison, Motley Crue released an album in 1994 WITHOUT Vince Neil, and many say it is their best album. Again, with no Vince and in the Grunge Era, it didn't get any love. But should be worth a listen.
I recently purchased every release from Chris Stapleton starting with the "What are you listening to" single back in 2013. I LOVE IT ALL. The 2 most recent album, "Songs from Room A" Vol 1 and 2.. Man it is great.. He has such much balls and power in his voice.
