5th grade here. I didn’t even bother watching. I went out with this girl in Mobile and told her that the Braves would choke it away when I saw that we were up 3-1.
Was a huge Braves fan for a long time but have stopped watching baseball the last few years for whatever reason. Still tuned in yesterday and felt the familiar disappointment
I can't hate on that because that's pretty much the reason my whole immediately family are Auburn fans
They were my second fave team as a kid. I learned to hate them in ‘91. Hate them more than Bama and UGA and Virginia all combined to this day.
I went to Game Five that year, & the Braves won 14-5 to go up 3-2 & then choked that away. Lost Game Seven 1-0 in on a solo shot in the 10th. Should have figured out the Choke Chop back then.
Pretty big win by the Braves, now getting to throw their ace in game 3. They got a good chance still
That was the load the band wagon year for "lifetime" barves fans. When millions of people in the Southeast decided to claim that they all went to Braves games when you could buy an outfield ticket and sit behind the dugout. Well if they all were there all the time, why was the fuggin stadium empty every night? Also, if you hit me in the back of the head with a foam Tomahawk, following the lead of Deion Sanders cheerleading, I hope you die a slow painful death watching your boys lose. Got worse over the years watching Bobby Cox cry about every call, and even lead the world in ejections, when his starting pitchers got and extra foot on both sides of the plate for 10'straight years. Just thank the umps between pitches for everything they gave you. I could go on but this is the gist.
We got have some barves fans on the board I see. Just explained to @RistDownAU why I began to hate them in 91. No stress here. They haven’t won a playoff series in 15+ years. Been pretty fun to watch.
I root for them, but I take pleasure in the results win or loose. Kinda like Gus & the Boogs lol

I was fine with your answer. It's the tagging me and calling them barves saying it's fun to watch them lose and posting laughing gifs. I haven't done or said anything annoying about them over here. I know braves fans can be annoying but im not one of them. Just felt it was unnecessary. Especially after the clowns how that was this series. Yeah, I'm probably too sensitive about it right now

No I get it. They deserve to be made fun of and I have made my jokes on other forums. I just felt like it was attacking me personally for some reason. We good.
As a life long fan of the Braves I knew what to expect going into the series. This was over when they lost game 1. So thankful I didn’t waste time watching game 5.
Perhaps one day they will advance in the postseason, but it’s hard to do that when your team limps into October and 3 of your best hitters go MIA. Like I said before “Braves gonna Brave”

I grew up a Braves fan and will always pull for the Braves to win the NL, but living in Htown for the past 20 yrs I’ve become a huge Astro’s homer. Watching this team this year I’m not sure I have ever seen a team that’s been better from top to bottom and with the starting pitching we have. That said I have been stressed all day knowing if we lose tonight it will be a complete failure. Good thing is there is not another pitcher I would want on the mound in a game like this. Not even Verlander. Cole has been the best pitcher in baseball this year. Now let’s go!
