Season Long SEC Football Discussion Thread

Marlon
D Brown
D Russ
Moultry/Coe

Coe
A Williams
Truesdale
Big Cat

I thought Williams was really good last year and I guess I just expect Truesdale to keep improving (I think I remember reading about him shedding bad weight etc). And Coe is just an absolute beast. Big Cat and Moultry are really the only two question marks but both are really talented and I'm not worried since Coe's gonna play there too. Throw in Newkrik, Jackson, Coynis Miller and Jibourner and I'm not worried about a potential exodus next season if both Brown and Marlon leave

I think that's spot on. As Newkirk and Miller get into better shape, I think they can work into the rotation late in the season. Jibunor might get some PT too as the season moves on. That would give us 10-11 deep across the front 4 with several guys capable of playing multiple positions. Big fan of that.

With each passing day I keep thinking more and more the 25 point line on this game isn't enough
With Bama and opening games, it's...

I think Coe ends up starting and we bring in better pass rushers on 3rd down. I think a starting 4 of Coe, Marlon, Brown, and D Russ is possibly the best front four in all of college football. I see the 2nd group as quality backups, but I'm not sure any of them would be starters at any of the other top SEC schools.

Would like to see us move Coe and Narlob inside on some obvious passing downs and get Moultry/Big Cat in to come off the corners...

I keep seeing people say Clemson’s front four may all go 1st round. If that’s even remotely possible I’d have to put our group at 2.

Thought this was funny.

So on yesterday's rundown, it somehow got to JGT talking about how he thinks that he is the most hated mod while talking to Wolk and BM. JGT goes on to talk about he made it further than any mod in TBWP contest. Wolk asked who won and JGT replied that rice did.

Wolk replied, "That isn't surprising". The three then went on to discuss how rice should watch Frozen to learn to "Let it go" (the movie was actually brought up by Wolk about his niece loving the movie)

I want Ed O to be at LSU forever but you gotta think he could easily get canned this year if he sucks again
I don't think Farmer Fran makes it the whole season. They like that he's a local guy. But they like winning far more. And Ed sucks.

Folks in Sakerlina take big offense when you mention that you didn’t know that Sterling Sharpe played there. Did anybody here under the age of 40 know that?

I did but only because I saw a sign when I went there to watch the boogs. Sakerlina fans also get upset when you're in their stadium at the beginning of the Spurrier era and you say something like "I think you guys will be good in a few years." (Sidenote - I was right).

Was this in 2006? I was at that game too, but was so plowed that all I can remember is them playing the chicken noise 150 times

It was. I was a bit drunk my own self. I vaguely remember us holding the ball like the whole 3rd quarter. I remember going to a bar and a Sakerlina fan was wearing a shirt that said, "My cock is Smelley."

My buddy apparently drove to Charleston afterwards with me passed out with the back seat in his 4 runner folded down.
