No, we just shat down our leg in a very important game against our most hated rival (who owns us) like a program not ready for the big time would.
Sad.
Me too. I’m cool with losing a crucial game to a mediocre Bama team when literally nothing else is going right with our revenue sports.
There’s nothing to be excited about as an Auburn fan... except that time we started 4-0 in conference when we came back from several double-digit halftime deficits.
No fighting in the Greg!!!Dude, you're on @gary7 or whatever his name is retard level. Just a fvcking moron!
I hate we lost especially with Sexton out. But this is AUbsolutley glorious.
Yes, I’m serious. Sorry I critique Bryce. He is an elite set shooter, but everything else he does on offense frustrates me. Him and Heron frustrate me the most every game. Make dumb mistakes and turn the ball over way too much. Are you serious? Good grief man.
He singlehandedly kept us in the game in the first half. You act like he’s supposed to be fuggin Reggie Miller or somethingYes, I’m serious. Sorry I critique Bryce. This is a message board to discuss and critique. I don’t have to justify my observations, because he’s the only one that scored points tonight. I know he’s not Reggie miller, he will never even sniff the Nba along with Heron. At least Heron can actually dribble.Yes, I’m serious. Sorry I critique Bryce. We have issues whether we beat Uga or not. We won’t lose, btw. Being tired or not having legs should never be an issue with 2 games a week. What should be watched closely is how we handle adversity. Brown and Heron are very immature, we need them to respond to adversity better this year.all it takes is a loss after 14 straight and an unexpected 4-0 start in SEC play to have this place start looking like TBB when it talks hoops.
It's basketball people. You lose some questionable games unless you are prime UK or Duke and loaded with future NBA talent. You lose road games and play like crap sometimes. You typically lose when the other team is more desperate and at their place.
If we fall to UGA we can start to wonder if we have issues.es. We've looked tired for 3 straight games and a loss may be what's needed to fuel the tank again. Call the hell down.
Agree 100% on this being about how we handle a loss.We have issues whether we beat Uga or not. We won’t lose, btw. Being tired or not having legs should never be an issue with 2 games a week. Definitely agree on Heron getting his. That is all he ever cares about. The reason why Brown isn’t as whiny, which he still bitches and whines every game, is because he’s now the go to guy.Agree 100% on this being about how we handle a loss.
Brown has been so much more mature than he was a year ago. It's hard to even put it into context. The dude would stop playing defense after 2 missed shots. Heron just looks like he wants to get his to me, still thinks his chance at the NBA is him being a NBA 20ppg scorer and I don't see it.
Tired because we've been on an emotional, unexpected run and suddenly were in the spotlight. Not because we play 2 games a week. Also because we were somewhat living off playing harder than anyone else. To me we were a bit of last years Boston Celtics....winning games in the regular season because they just played harder and wanted it more. I thought they were a prime candidate for early knockout in the playoffs and while I love these Tigers, I'm not sure I see a deep run in them even if we go 14-4 in the SEC. We're winning on good play, but also on hustle and effort and that all levels out in the tourney.
IDK man Petty looked pretty talented to me

Lmao. I never said he was our worst player. I said he wasn’t the elite defender y’all make him out to be. Bunch of crybabies. You are critiquing way too hard if you blame the play after the made FT on him. It was a bad lead pass, to a bad spot on the floor, into the equivalent of triple coverage. You said he was our worst player last game. That’s really all I need to know about your basketball analysis.
Agree 100% on this being about how we handle a loss.

Outside of set shooting, Brown is terrible at basketball.
Ummm...no. looks nothing like the boog bored. Not one person here has blamed the loss on free throws.all it takes is a loss after 14 straight and an unexpected 4-0 start in SEC play to have this place start looking like TBB when it talks hoops.

kind of weird stats but Desean Murray leads the team in turnovers for the season so far and Horace Spencer leads the team in steals. And Chuma is now out rebounding both Horace and Mac
Part of the loss was we played the worst game we've played all season, and the other part was they played out of their minds trying to beat the best team in the SEC. We have the target on our backs, now. We've got to learn to rise above everyone's best effort from here on out.
Davion had 5 assists and 0 TO’s in 13 minutes last night. He should’ve been in the game for the 5 second sequence when we had the chance to tie.
Yeah that was a toughy. Dude clearly barreled into Davion and he holds on to break his fall. Bruce went berserk and rightfully so. That last play was definitely Fubar from the jump. He's also the guy who is most likely to get us a steal IMO. He probably had drawn an offensive foul on the inbounds before he wrapped his arm around the offensive player and made it look like he was pulling him down.
We also need to have him in late IMO because we need to have speed bringing the ball up and more options on the court than just Harper. We really botched the in bounds pass, down 3 with 5 seconds to go IMO. That ball needs to hit a PG on the move and it looked like Harper wasn't ready to be pressed. We essentially had no shot at getting a moderate look for the tie there once the ball was inbounded. Just poorly played and executed.
