Haven't beaten OM since January 2012. Lost 10 straight. OM and Kennedy have always done a good job of mixing up defenses and changing up looks to confuse our offense. They're athletic and scrappy. Don't think they're a great team, but they are disruptive. They're 2nd in the league in steals. They're also 2nd in 3PAs but last in the league in FG%. That 3PA stat is a little scary because when they do get hot, they score in bunches.
For us, we have to recognize their defensive sets early and get into good plays in the halfcourt. This is a big game for Jared and Davion. We need to get back on defense. OM has killed us in transition the last few games, and that's probably where they're at their best right now. For them to score with the way they shoot the ball, they have to do it in transition. Also, to stop their transition, we need to shoot well. Limit their chances of running on us. Allow us to set up our halfcourt defense and force them to beat us in the halfcourt.
