Well well well. The Bunker’s worst coach apparently does better when he doesn’t have Frazier dumped in his lap by Zahn
He got dumped into a shitty situation at AU but he definitely wasn't good in his own right. That was 8 years ago and he hasn't had any real success until now. So he's clearly learned a lot. But he was way too inexperienced to be AU's oc at the time
Was the perfect storm of bad hires by Chiz. I’ve just always found it funny that people act like Loeffler was the reason for that bad year and he was so bad, when that was all Chiz
yeah. It was all 100% chiz's fault. He allowed the toxic atmosphere to manifest and he was the one who asininely decided to go back to a pro style offense. And to top it off he hired a young dude that had never been an OC before so I bet Trooper and Luper never listened to him (that's just a guess). It was all just terribly mismanaged by Chiz who probably thought he had a ton of leeway bc of the 'ship but it ultimately got him canned.
IMO there are two kinds of good coaches - one that can adapt to what he has and score points and another that has to have time to implement and a certain kind of personnel. It seems likely to me that Loeffler falls into that 2nd category or maybe they are just playing bad teams. I don't know.
Sometimes the ones that adapt aren’t alqays good at getting their own guys in though, Petrino probably as a good example
Petrino pre-scandal was pretty good at finding talent to fit his offense, but post-scandal Bobby has really struggled.
Apparently real people are giving Vandy a chance against ND today. Would be a pretty ridiculous SEC d to the face of the rest of the country.
Crazy how terrible FSU is. Still have a ton of talent almost lost to Samford last week prob gonna lose today to Syracuse.

If I remember right he wanted run a lot of power, big sets with multiple TEs. Problem with that is he was trying to use the TEs that Zahn left him and Kiehl Frazier, Malzahn's golden child QB recruit.

FSU, but they hired exactly what they're getting so I'm not sure why anyone would expect differently. Taggart had a losing record before FSU hired him.
Apparently he hasn't recruited worth a damn at OL/DL. With the right bag man he'd win multiple natty's.

Tua is pretty ridic. No elite size, arm strenght, but he just knows where to get the ball and gets it there fast. Kind of a baker mayfield clone

MSU's LT is awful. They won't win more than 8 games this season.
