Massive win tonight. Sucks to know we would have been contending for the SEC title with a chance for a deep tourney run if Cooper had been playing all year, but it’s still satisfying to see Bruce and Cooper’s patience in waiting on the NCAA pay off. Pull the upset this weekend and this will be one of the best weeks in AU hoops history.

This is what a down year under BRUCE looks like gents. It’s been pretty fun out honking the honkiest of honks since BRUCE got here and being right with regularity.
BRUCE does not field uncompetitive squads even in a down year like some inferior programs such as UK, UNC, Duke, etc. Only thing that can ever keep this program down is injuries and unfair, antisimetic restrictions placed on us from the NCAA.
I mean it’s tough for them they think they got a good squad only to get completely blasted and outclassed by a young boog squad without one of its best players and it’s 2 best in deep foul trouble. It was obvious from the jump their guys had no business sharing a court with us our chaulk squad is more athletic.
I would have been mad af when the foul difference in the 2nd half was 9-1. But they were smashing young Sharife to try to intimidate him. Didn’t work.
The offensive foul on him first half was bullshit and the blocking call to give him his 4th was egregiously bad. If Cooper had been playing with just two the booty blasting would have been so much worse.
BTW, Pinson needs to go on a carnivore diet or something. I'm almost worried for the young man's health with that stick frame of his.
The 3rd was really really ticky tacky. The 4th was some kind of makeup call that didn't make sense at all.
That 4th was a clear we need to narrow the foul disparity even though it’s obvious Mizzou is legit fouling all over the court. Oh well led to some drama I’m sure the TV viewers enjoyed.
I now have the boogs as the #2 team in the SEC. fully believe we can challenge Baylor Saturday.
It really is remarkable. I had realistic expectations this year when we thought we'd have Cooper all year. I thought we would struggle early and then be in the mix to make the tourney. As it turns out, we're at least a top 15 team right now if Cooper had been with us all year and on the short list as one on of the most dangerous teams in the country when the tournament arrives. And that's even with Powell being out with his concussion. There aren't sufficient words to describe the incredible job Bruce is doing.
