1.8 seconds left, UGA has the ball out of bounds under their own basket. Little chance of getting a heave winner there but you never know. Ref quite obviously shows the UGA player he cannot run the baseline. UGA player panics and runs the baseline after about 3 seconds cause literally no UGA player is moving other than 1 guy. It looked like a Gus Malzahn pass concept.
SMU gets the ball now in much better position, under the UGA hoop with 1.8 remaining. They have a timeout. They get a 5 second violation.
Both teams should have to forfeit for that terrible play.

Funny I was arguing with a uva co-worker just last week about how our SOS is not as week as one would think. I was explaining how the boogs were undervalued and uva is overrated. Now looks as if I can finish him...uva OCSOS #57 and they have 2 losses. Boogs OCSOS is #49 and we are undefeated. Other OCSOS of note....UL #48, UK#43, Xavier #62.
Auburn is now in the top 10 at 10.

Just looked and we are finally starting to get some well deserved respect across the board. AP #8, Coaches #8, NET #8, 25 and 1 #9, NBC Power Rankings #6 and Andy Kats Power 36 #3.
What I still don’t get is the dang KenPom and his OCSOS rankings. Pom has us #15 overall with the #104 ranked OCSOS. Team rankings has us at #54 OCSOS and the NET OCSOS has us at #15. Even the NBC writer says he can’t figure out what is going on here and that the large discrepancy has him feeling like he has us undervalued, yet overrated at the same time. He does point out that he feels we are in the top group of overall teams when you look at how we play on both sides of the ball combined. The two stats that I love the most are #7 nationally in 2pt FG% and top 10 in FTA per game. We are also ranked pretty high in rebound differential per game. Physicality is what this team is all about and I am loving that!
We're 20th in offensive efficiency and 45th in defensive efficiency and I think those are gonna slide towards each other as SEC play begins. Conference games tend to be a bit more of a grind and I can see us holding quite a few of these uggs to low scoring performances
SEC can't shoot worth a damn, so expect that defensive efficiency to improve.
