The bams have to be the luckiest program in the world. Hope it bites them in the tourney. LBS engaged.
Dan Dakich has done a complete 180 on Rife. He has brought him up on 2 separate occasions in the bam game. The first time he called him the most valuable player on any team in basketball, and then said he is playing better than any player in college basketball...clarified it when the other announcer questioned him by saying I did not say the NBA, just college basketball. Then out of no where just spouted off that he can’t wait to watch Rife play today against Butler. Sure the bam fans are loving it.
Still lost lol. SEC is so bad gonna get completely trashed by the B12 today. Boogs only chance for a decent dub.
Had been discussing this with friends. Would love to know exactly what all was said. Juwan is seemingly a laid back dude.

First UVA out of conference tournament & now Kansas. Jayhawks had a couple years of bad luck. Also protocols put in by NCAA for the tournament in case you can’t field a team of five. Boogs don’t have to be troubled by any of this playing out.
I saw our beloved Sir Charles picked Bama for the final 4. I picked them to lose to Iona because that’s about the only thing I want out of this tourney.
I’m sure it has quite a bit to do with our boogs not participating but was watching some last night and it sucks balls without the fans. All in the same shit town with the players bench extending half way up the lower level. I’m sure I’ll find some time to watch but already got tee times lined up Sat and Sun.
I did two brackets....my “real” one has Gonzaga winning it all. My friends found it hilarious that after the 10 minute segment on Barkley’s shitty bracket predictions over the years, he picked my exact Final Four and Championship game result.

I’m sticking to my “no chance Gonzaga actually wins a title”... but I also have them losing in the title game because no one in their bracket can challenge them
BAMA is one of like 6 teams I could see coming out of that region... a bunch of teams with definite strengths and serious flaws... any of them could end up the sacrificial lamb to the Zags or out in the second round... I went with Texas but could easily replace them with BYU, FSU, Colorado, Michigan, or even the Bams
the Midwest is god. awful. Illinois is great but I hate every other team in that region other than Loyola and San Diego State... if Loyola was the 7 instead of the 8 I’d have them in the Elite 8
Baylor should cruise through the South unless Scott Drew goes full Scott Drew... maybe Arky can snipe them - I love Muss and am rooting for them
so, that gives me Baylor - who I don’t trust, Gonzaga - who I don’t trust, the East which is a shitshow, so I ended up going with Illinois because they’re the only contender I trust

Pretty fantastic game VPI/UF as Hokies hit a three with less than two seconds to give me some free basketball.
I flipped it on early in the first and the chalkies were giving them the business and the Hogs were getting visibly frustrated and trying to do too much... it’s the hidden psychological benefit of chalkies
anyway, Hogs started Hawgin and reeled off like 15 straight and I stopped paying attention... no chance Colgate can actually beat them

Yeah my oldest Boog had them in the finals. I can’t see anyone picking Oral Roberts in that one. Saw them play the Boogs when I was like a sophomore think (I was in the same class as Bobby Cattage & Earl Bank haha) You see where Dr. Bob passed away this week? He was a great guy and my his last year was my first there.
Vols getting bounced warms my soul. Played 27 games this year same as the boogs.

I saw that game too. I was a lot younger of course but never forgot that name! Had a friend who was the Head Cheerleader at AU back then and he was buddies with Cattage. Got to meet him once and it was a big day for me then.

I went 10-6 Friday, 12-4 yesterday. Thought I had tOSU in the Elite 8 but I was wrong and still have all 8 alive. Saw a girl on ESPN who went 31-1 and only missed tOSU the first two days.
So basically all the higher seeds in bama’s region lost already. Not that I care or anything...
9 double digit seeds won in Round 1. Feels like 7 of them are in Bama’s section of the draw.
They’ve been controlling things ever since the REC shut down basketball last year to keep Auburn from making back-to-back Final Fours, so this isn’t surprising
