I don’t think there is any such thing as an easy path anymore. Every year the Mid Majors get better and better.
yeah. they're ranked 7th on kenpom. No idea what the tourney committee was thinking making them an 8 seed
Wow just finished watching the Loyola Sister Jeans dismantle the Illini on delay. The B1G not looking so great. I think they’ve lost a #1 & 2 & 4 I can think of, & two of those in the first round. Funny to see Loyola doing the BRUCE Dance.
Just noticed every seed except #16 still in the Thrilling 32™️. And yeah I’m trademarking that before the NCAA cause I came up with Elite 8 in 86 when the Boogs knocked out Tark the Shark’s Running Rebels & they didn’t trademark it until 97 filthy bastages.
This Friday/Sunday package maybe the most insane ever. Got two orange & black OSU squads playing & the 12 is up by 13 over the 5. Delicious hoops.
B1G stinking it up largely with two 2’s & a 1 not advancing to the SS, while the under rated PAC whatever is like 7-0. And of course the Bams catch #10 Maryland & the bottom #1 Michigan is in their bracket. Nary a Blue Blood left in their bracket unlike the run of the Boogs two years ago.
still can't get over the Officer Farva mother fugger on Loyola. I really hope he balls out and leads them to another final four. He was fun to watch
But still I just glanced & they gonna face three double digit seeds to make the Elite Eight with a 15, 10 & probably an 11 that is already playing their third game. Actually could face a 14 ILO of 11, but that seems unlikely at this point.
Not arguing that. On paper it absolutely looks easy. It’s just a day to day things for teams now. Many thought Texas could get them. Nobody thought AC was gonna get Texas first.
Instead of saying nobody has easy games maybe I should say you have to play 6 pretty good games in a row. Because anybody can beat anybody on a given day. Captain obvs right??
Agreed & LSU definitely looks like the better team right now. Bams played their worst game Saturday since before league play started & still won by double digits. Maybe I should step back & give them more credit for only losing two conference games, but I still don’t have to like it. Gonna be tough weathering this game with the wife tonight, but she thinks the Boogs are all HYGS so I’ll try & behave.
Also have a first team AA & two on the second team, so that’s three of the top 10 players in the entire country.
I want to see Bama but this LSU/Michigan game is fun basketball right now.

Nm got noxious watching Bama and that fat slob Reese raining 3s. Will flip over if they have any chance of losing.
It’s only fair to the veteran teams from last year to cancel the whole tourney now due to COVID and rip out the hearts of all these veteran teams advancing

Gonzaga's Second Round game was always going to be one of two teams that beat the #5 overall seed.
Was wondering earlier how many times this seed matchup has been played & they just said this was only the 2nd time.

No final four run is legit unless you have to beat Kansas, UNC, and UK and/or Duke to get there. I’m pretty sure that’s the rule
