Weird if true. But we’ll all get to see for our own eyes tomorrow what he looks like. If he looks as clueless as Woody Barrett did, then I’m gonna be so disappointed
Considering he’s getting very little, if any, meaningful development in the passing game under our deranged HC, I’d say get ready to be disappointed.
We’ll see mostly zone read handoffs, a couple meaningless QB keepers where he can’t get hit, a couple swing passes to RBs, 7-8 screen passes to Ryan Davis or some walk-on chalkie and 2-3 head-scratching awful arm punts.
Gatewood was already very raw coming in, and under our abysmal offensive coaching staff, he won’t get much polish. It’s the main reason why I was so pissed about losing Fields in classic Gus QB recruiting fashion.
Probably just lined up out there so Gus could bring in Chandler Cox to run the wildcat.
It saddens me that posts like this probably have more than a little truth to them.

Is he doing that thing where he’s all super hyped and marketing the program before reality crashes in?
Dunno. He is just using all of his players. Running reads, tossing toTE, throwing to WRs on actual routes. Without the talent the plays are not being executed but the play calling is mixed up and fresh and there if players could hold on to the ball.

He and Dan Wolken are both neither funny, smart, or good writers and somehow they have pretty big jobs. Guess he’s just a hard worker
They are pretty similar. Wolken is probably more intelligent but more of a douche.
I get annoyed by people that try to be witty all the time when they are so bad at it. Both are good examples of that
Quality was diminishing on those so I tried at least to have the self awareness to nip it in the bud
