SBS is already a college athlete pretty much if you just measure it by how much “lock down” he’s under. Kids in his situation are not normal high school children. He pretty much lives and breathes hoops both in the summer during AAU and while he’s in school. I don’t think the “let him have fun his senior year” logic really applies. In a lot of ways, he’s alread a professional athlete
I see no reason for him to continue abusing HS children across the AAU circuit. Kid is more ready to boog than any other HYG we have coming in. Can still BS around with his HS friends, invite them to Boogville for slumber parties, etc. Be a lotto lock 2 years from now under Bruce and Steven

****Longtime UAB fans will cringe at that prediction, but the Blazers weren’t even in the running during Watford’s recruitment. Rob Ehsan is a good coach, but recruiting on Southside hasn’t been the same since Jerod Haase left for Stanford.
Auburn fell behind in the recruitment of Watford when assistant coach Chuck Person was arrested and fired. Bruce Pearl has tried to make up ground recently, but I think it’s probably too little too late. Plus, if Chuma Okeke returns to school, which he should, then Watford could be coming off the bench as a freshman. That’s a deal breaker.
It's a shame because Chuma isn't going to return, and Bruce likes having a flexible power forward. oh well, guess he'll have to hope some 2nd tier program like Duke can't make a place for him.
Maybe Gus can invite him to Israel.

That's odd, Rayjon would have the keys to the Memphis kingdom, one of the hottest programs in the nation, and an amazing opportunity showcase himself.
Auburn isn't chopped liver by any stretch, but playing in the SEC is potentially a tougher grind. Would love to see him join Bruce's HYGs and come boog, but it's odd that he would commit to Memphis and then back off that commitment a week or so later because his team has signed even more studs.
