Any news in the Hoops Scoops?

Big weekend, Kessler commit caught everyone on staff by surprise. They thought it was a joke at first. Said even some of his family were shocked and wanted him to stay close and go to AU which was interesting news based on some thinking his family was pushing him away. Full court press on now for Clifford. Staff in again to see Brakefield before he goes to Louisville for OV this weekend. Feel it’s down to AU and Louisville.

Big news was on Cameron Thomas changing his OV. Bruce and Wes made trip up to visit with him and his Mom. They all decided to change OV to make sure he and his mother had all the time with staff when they come vs. having to share time with Jalen this weekend. Seems like we have made a lot of progress with him. Down to AU, UCLA and LSU maybe UCONN, but we are making up serious ground on LSU who they feel is leading

Some reporter asked Sharife who he would like to play with at Auburn. He said Brakefield, Omoruyi, Greg Brown, and Jalen Green. Said he would try to get all those players to come with him.

I’m with ya brother. I’ve had a feeling for a while that we have a way better shot at Green and Brown than anyone is giving us credit for. After last night how can Green not see how much love our Boogs have for both of them and each other. He calls Rife his brother and said himself it’s about family. Not to mention in the age of “dream teams” why not.

I can see Rife, Okoro, Stretch and Cambridge selling to Green, Brown and Brakefield the chance to win it all next year. Call me crazy, but I feel confident that Brakefield and Green are Auburn when all said and done, and it will
Be because of Rife. Brown is the wild card and while we’re at it go ahead and add Makur to the family and call it the greatest class of all time!
