****** Official Boogs vs Georgia SEC Championship Game Thread ******

No trouble that I know of yet as she was able to attend aTm and the Iron Bowl with me, but I was told it probably wasn't the best use of our money when I started bringing up playoff and natty trips

Go with:

The Disney trip was a once in a lifetime trip and so is the playoff. There will never be another first trip to the playoffs. First only happens once.

If she says no:
See if ya can get her to meet you half way. SECG and a new large screen TV. If she still says no then how bout the TV.

If still no then how bout sex

Pro tip #69 right here.

Largely agree, except to note Wims is a baller. He would be a 1,000 yard receiver in a lot of offenses. Godwin is solid, but never really materialized into the weapon he was expected to be.

I'm also unsure how Nauta faded into the background this year. I'd pegged him for 40+ receptions & 500+ yards this season as the primary play-action target, but he's been largely invisible. Would not be surprised to see him be much more involved in the game plan Saturday, as attacking us over the middle is where we're most vulnerable in coverage. Dinson, as beast as he is in run support, is just bad in coverage. Same goes for DD, who I love to death, but he's beast against the run and a liability in coverage.

I think UGA will continue to pound away with Chubb & Michel and take shots downfield with Wims, but attack the middle more aggressively and incorporate some of our style run concepts to attack the edges and use our aggressiveness against us.
I'm a little worried that they will utilize the TE for the first time, kind of like bama did in the first Natty versus Clemson

Once an Auburn Tiger, always an Auburn Tiger, no matter how hard and how much it sucks sometimes. Glad you feeling it this morning. Praying we all feeling it Sunday morning.

I am in section 114 for the game. Who is sitting by me??

To me, the emotional edge factor makes this game difficult to predict. Just seems like right now, UGA holds the emotional edge going into this game, given their revenge factor and confidence that their team is better than what they showed 3 weeks ago.

The edge only matters in one area in this game - their OL vs our DL. One thing is for certain - UGA's OL will come out swinging hard and hoping to get big chunks of yards from their RBs. And they will if our guys are overconfident or unprepared and the game will get ugly quick.

However...if we're a championship caliber team, then we're going to rise to the challenge and come out ready to play. We'll take their best shot early on and start retaliating with knockout punches that completely takes them out of the game.

This game is what defines our season. If we don't win, we never belonged in the college football playoff anyways because championship caliber teams win the winnable games like this one. If we win, we're absolutely a championship caliber team that deserves a spot in the CFB playoff and I'll consider the possibility that Gus might have some wolf blood in him.

Anyways, GO BOOGS.

while it would suck to lose to UGA, i really don't care. AU swept Amen Corner and that's what i wanted to see. Would love to see a Natty this season too but not gonna jump off a cliff if it doesn't happen.
All the football crap is distracting from the real miracle of the season, Bruce's hulking teens and their hardwood exploits.

Maybe my favorite post in the history of the GREG.

A Boog W on Saturday followed by the return of Austin on Sunday would be the perfect start to the month. Let’s hope both happen

I’ve been Boog’ing my little heart out, but my brain is actually fully on board for tomorrow...

2015 - UGA 1 offensive TD
2016 - UGA 0 offensive TD
2017 - UGA 2 offensive TD - 1 in garbage time

after their first drive, they did nothing... they can improve their scheme and play better and eliminate mistakes and change their OL and blah blah blah... they can’t score enough on our defense to win, Kerryon or not...

short of 2 defensive/special teams TD’s, Boogs by double digits... 31-13 sounds reasonable

Early crowd is all UGA. Probably 80/20 or worse. Wish we had more dukies supporting the boogs here in Atlanta. Hoping for a late AU crowd surge so that this doesn’t become a de facto UGA home game.
