It's not like Stretch really needs to be "ready to play" , he would greatly benefit from a year of workouts and just traveling with the team.

Yeah. He’s only gonna play decent mins if two of Austin, Mac, or Horace get injured. And even then, after reading and watching everything I could on the kid, I bet he’s alre an “sec ready” shot blocker
Worst case he could give us about what Mac gave us as a FR. Which was pretty solid. Fortunately we have the best team in the country so can let him take the year to turn into a freakbeast for 2019 and have his AAU teammates down for sleepovers.
I think that might be more like best case with Stretch. If he could give us the kind of production Mac gave us as a freshman and show the kind of flash and potential Mac did, I’d be thrilled. Mac gave us 5 and 4.5 in 15 minutes as a freshman.
