OT: AUBURN BASKETBALL

I understand they're just kind of adding people and maybe they coulnd't have planned this. But they're de-escalating the excitement. It's like they prematurely shot their wad. Should have started with these forgettable names like tj lang, and new williams, adn then built up to Chuma and Marquis. But whatever. ti's not big deal. I'll still watch when they play. Don't think they're gonna win the tourney though

only losses were to eventual champs Virginia, #8 UK at Rupp last season, and #1 Gonzaga (without Sharife) this season. No shame in any of those. Really really impressive. But if you start the timeline at the beginning of the 2018/19 season, you can tack on 5 more losses to ranked opponents which makes us right at .500.

Lol at this squad every AU reject of the last decade. Even as a diehard boog hoops fan I swore not to ever watch Danjel hoop again so I’m out. Maybe Malik can catch on with a different team.

Yeah I got nothing against Cin. Seems like he’s more popular amongst boog nation now than when he played.

Canty got kicked off the team for mouthing off to Steven and pulling a knife on a teammate (allegedly).

Dunans was a shithead who almost got kicked off the team. Murray left so he could smoke weed.

But none of these dudes suck as much as Danjel who apparently is pretending to sell his AU gear and ripping people off. God he just sucks so much least favorite boog of all time.

my god. A team full of bad attitudes. I know people can mature and gain perspective, but if we're just going by their college careers, then I'd honestly be impressed if they just make it to the tournament without hurting one another. Canty, Dunnan,a and Sweet Danjel in your starting 5 is just a recipe for lols. So i'll be watching hte trainwreck

snowball of real life has severely impacted my tronz time the last month or so... but I’m not discouraged about anything that’s happened this year

you either trust BRUCE or you don’t... not to say he’s infallible, but you have to take a step back and a few deep breaths before you get too wound up about this season... it’s not an excuse, it’s just a fact that the Sharife thing ruined the entire season

talent isn’t enough in basketball... it’s the most important thing, but talent alone is not enough... all of our issues are things we expected - largely due to youth and inexperience playing together and playing against better competition... the NCAA decided to take away all ability to learn this shit in the fall and non-conference, so the guys are having to figure shit out against experienced, conference teams - while also having absolutely nothing to play for - and as the L’s mount it’s snowballing on them

we have not played 1 single game all season with our full team... this entire season is practice for next year, and I legitimately do not give a shit about anything but getting guys more experience playing together and being healthy next fall

I figure guys are tired of hearing that over and over though, so not much else for me to say right now... I don’t blame anyone for being disappointed with the season - I just trust BRUCE implicitly and have a different outlook than most for what constitutes success this year, and am undeterred

I’m with you. No way I won’t watch at least some of this team of misfits

Ha well when you put it like that maybe I will watch and just free myself of any obligation to root for the team as a boog.

Oh yeah. Incredibly frustrating player at times. And he had the most awkward way of finishing around the rim, but he somehow made it work his senior year
