OT: Bracketology

True. Just pissed I’m not gonna see the Boogs in person, and now have to unload some club level tix in Nashville. I’ll get over it by tomorrow and will be ready to Boog on Friday. May have an Anchorman marathon. MITS, can you give us the scouting report on CoC?
Boogs should smoke my Coogs. Not even a contest as far as skill and athleticism is concerned

Yeah I really wanted to pay my respect in person this year. Guess I’ll be canceling all the plans I’d made this evening. Then Omaha if god willing we make it out the first weekend? Meh but I’ll take a look at it I suppose.

There ya go @MomentInTheSun

Fuggin San Diego. How fvcking gay

Come on bro what was you thinking. We are awbren. Why would we not be the highest seed to play the furtherest away? Hell I figured the committee would have used our stumble down the stretch as an excuse to leave us out all together. Nashville/Dallas was a solid fit. Now I got to tell my two boys that I am sorry, but I ain't paying $2400 just for plane tickets to take them to their first Boog March madness. What an absolute bummer this weekend has become!

They’ll just appreciate it more next year when we’re a 1 seed playing in Hawaii.

This show is just amazingly stupid. Having a 30 minute segment where they get chuck and Kenny to physically write out their bracket on a board is just painful. Even Ernie said it was stupid

did they run through this or are they just winging it? Feels like they did zero show prep honestly. Why not have Chuck and Kenny fill out different brackets during ad breaks and then argue over who is doing what. The way they did it was painful

I made a group bracket challenge for the greg, here's the link

http://games.espn.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2018/en/group?groupID=2382440

password is Weagle1492

group name: THE GREG

If the link doesn't work its on ESPN bracket challenge page, fill out a bracket, go to the "join group" button and search for "THE GREG" you should find it.

Group rules: up to 3 brackets, brackets are locked in once submitted.

Clemson in the second round again. No thanks. And what is this BS?

TENNESSEE

Tennessee would be a newbie to the top line if this comes through for the Volunteers. They return every significant contributor from last season's surprising run to the SEC title and a No. 3 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The Vols figure to be favored to repeat that championship, although there will be strong challengers.

Just a sad attempt to generate clicks and differentiate from Denims Dozen.

Not sure how you AU as a 7 seed when the three losses come from your 1, 4, and 6 seeds away from home. Plus he has Arizona, Washington, and murray st all in the tourney so he's giving us 3 tourney wins as well. Weird number especially with Villanova, UNC, and UK all getting higher seeds when they've all had bad losses.

Pretty nifty site here: http://barttorvik.com/teamsheets.php?conlimit=SEC&sort=1

Maybe I’m making this up but I think the quality metrics play a pretty big part in the seeding. Resume more for the bubble. Anyway, if we could get a 6 seed might be able to make a run. Don’t see any squads outside the top 8 that are too great.
Cool site. Lots of good info.

The close losses, and lack of bad losses, have helped. Computer models really like the boogs. If we can win the ones we're supposed to (Arky, UGA, MSU, Bama), I think we win one in the SEC tourney and wind up a 6-seed at 22-11. Beat Tennessee or Kentucky, and a 5-seed could be possible. Lose a bad one, and could be a bubble team that still ends up with a higher seed than most expect (9 or 10). I think we'll be the team that all the talking heads will say are over-seeded. Tis the life of a blue blood.
