OT: Bracketology

I currently have the boogs as a 7 in my proprietary bracket formula. Chance to move up to a 5 with wins at Bama and against Grant Flops-a-Lot. Win out, including the SEC tourney and they’re a 3. Split down the stretch and win one in tourney for a 6. I think a 5 or 6 seed would be ideal for making it to the second weekend.

And losing out would drop the boogs to a 9/10. I’d definitely prefer the 10 if so.

Pretty much aligns with my algorithm. Can move up a line with every Q1 win the rest of the way basically.

moved up to 21 in the net after yesterday.

Would really love a win against UT. Not just to improve our NET but it’d go a long way in appearances/perception standpoint too. I feel like computers still like us obviously but we lack a signature win for people to really respect us

Just saw Palm has us as a 9 seed in his latest bracket. I wonder if that assumption is based on us losing out?

Our Q1 record is the glaring weakness but there is still no way we are a 9 seed right now. Safely a 7 currently. More likely a 6 than an 8 imo. A couple more Q1 wins would get us in the mid teens in everything then all of a sudden we’re in the 4-5 discussion.

We all know Lunardi is a hack but this updated bracket would be pretty sweet:

6 seed in the west with Houston as the 3. Michigan 2 and Zags 1 that region is ripe for a boog run to Minny.

Houston would be a fvcking rock fight, but that’s a game that any number of HYG’s can win by themselves if they get hot

I’d prefer a team that wants to run, but win that one and the bracket would line up about as well as we could hope

That’s a pretty neat drop & click app. Also, that first round opponent of ours should help us get ready for the lingo on the 3rd weekend.

This projection has us playing Mustapha in the first round. Would be crazy.

And I hate the matchup with Michigan in the second round of that bracket. Would rather match up with either of the Big 12 schools than the B1G teams.

UPDATE: boogs now a solid 5 seed according to Van Gorstache's BracketMadness2000®. My NCAAMensProjexionTron® has the boogs losing to LSU in the SEC semi-finals for a pre-tourney record of 24-10. Good enough for a 5 seed. Same result if boogs bow out early to South Carolina. Fall to a 6 with a loss to Georgia or Mizzou. We're now projecting the boogs as a 3 seed if they beat UK in the SEC final, but only a 4 seed if they beat the Vols for a third straight time.

Bracketmology analysis:

http://www.bracketmatrix.com/

I got the boogs clearly ahead of Miss St and Marquette. Maybe VT, K St. and possibly Kansas if they want to discount a bunch of their early season wins when they had a couple key players they don’t have now. Don’t really see anyone behind us that could jump us at this point.

Basically should have a lock on a 5. Very likely a 4 with a dub today. Then a win Sunday you got a 3 in play. Top 2 lines look set but could jump pretty much anyone else with a SEC tourney title.

I am unapologetically racist against white people, and assume we would beat Michigan because they play a white kid. Give me the B1G teams.
chalkies ruin everything. I can say this because I'm a chalkie. We try to hoop and are almost always try hard coaches son types. We try to do the hip hop and are so incredibly lame at it. I don't trust BBQ if I see a team of chalkies in the kitchen either.

Auburn doesn't have a chalkie in it's rotation. Bruce knows.

Jerry’s final bracket has the Boogs still at the six line. Just can’t see how we’re anything less than a 5
