So, I am confused. Say Auburn and Tenn finish with the same SEC record. Is there a tie breaker? I would think Auburn would be outright champs due to head to head victory, but I'm told that would not be the case.
I figure a head to head would be the kicker. Maybe rpi?So, I am confused. Say Auburn and Tenn finish with the same SEC record. Is there a tie breaker? I would think Auburn would be outright champs due to head to head victory, but I'm told that would not be the case.

We are assuming there’s not a three way tie right? I’m pretty sure it would be head to head. Can’t see any reason why not
Interesting, you’re right. Seems dumb. A&M did get the 1 seed because of head to head. Don’t know why they wouldn’t just recognize the 1 seed as full champion but what do I know2016 A&M won the head to head, but were co-champs with KY. Both 13-5 record.
From what I understand, they would be co-champs, and the only advantage would be the #1 seed in St. Louie. Kind of like the boogs celebrate a 3 way tie in the conference in Hut Hut in 89 & a 2 way tie in 88. 88 we lost to the Bengal Tigers head to head, but still got the Sugar Bowl. So much for conspiracy theories against the boogers. Bottom line is we would still get to hang a banner in the Clam.Interesting, you’re right. Seems dumb.
