Treadstone popped up on Youtube tv , it's a USA network property that threads into the Bourne universe. The pilot was enough to have me watching for the next episode.

Might try this. What pay for apps do you have besides YouTube? I have to have Philo for the lady channels & humpback of both of my young Boogs for PRIME & Netflix.
youtube tv for my sports fix, they have all the espn and fox channels including the regional ones, then have netfix, prime and hulu (which is included with my spotify account, that and youtube should cover the lady channels.
by the way. I still love this song so much.
Anyway, Watchmen premiered on sunday.Wasn't too entertaining but it's obvious that it's gonna a super dense, layered show that'll be full of little eggs that'll be hatched later. Looking forward to watching it unfold as it gets more complex and entertaining

Just watched The Mandolorian gang. Totally badass. Super excited to see the rest of the series
only bummer about it is that the episode run time is like 35 minutes. Apparently it's because they spent a shitload of money making the production value movie quality so they had to decrease run time. I guess it's worth it because it's pretty visually awesome and there was only one moment where i thought the cgi stood out in a bad way. But still wanted that extra 15 to 20 minutes that I was expecting.
Music is pretty dope too. Kept the traditional star wars music structure with character motifs. But mixed up with some like electronic ominous tones. Cool stuff
I never realized they made a series about G.L.O.W. I loved the show as a kid. This adaptation is awesome.

Enjoying Watchmen and really sad Silicon Valley ended because some of those characters consistently make me laugh out loud but they did a good job with it and wrapped it up well, so that's a positive.

This was easily the worst and a pretty forgettable season of Silicon valley and I'm happy that it's over. Russ Fest was like the only shining moment and I wish they'd built more than just one episode around it. Maybe it'd been too expensive or something but there's just so much opportunity there and it felt rushed and a bit squandered. But overall, the show just didn't have the same energy anymore and I know a few of the producers have moved on to other projects and the loss of off screen talent was evident.
Watchmen is just kind of jaw dropping WTF in every episode. I don't even know how to really articulate what the fugg I'm watching. But it's enjoyable and cool and so well stylized that I just have to keep watching. I don't even know how anyone keeps up with the show if they'd never been somewhat familiar with the comic or at least the movie. Like you said, I can't believe it's only got one episode left. So much has to come together and be explained. Hopefully it's a 90 minute finale next Sunday. Since there's no new epsisode of silicon valley, that timeslot is open for an extended watchmen final.
SV certainly slowed a bit but they still had me howling at times. Russfest, just about everything involving Jian Yang killed me. I find the robotic dryness of Laurie hilarious.
I'm sure they are leaving at least a few open ends in Watchmen to carry into a potential S2 but I'm not sure how they wrap up much of anything. Probably fine as long as it stays entertaining and don't pull a GoT and need 18 months to get another season rolling.
No Funkhauser makes me sad. He was the perfect straight man for Larry's bullshit. Hopefully Jon Hamm has a decent role. he's pretty damn funny when he's called to be.

New show and definitely a new concept. But I love Hugh Laurie and I totally trust the dude that created Veep and The Thick of It.
Comes out next week. So much hype around this series bc of the popularity of the books and the video games. But if i'm perfectly honest, it comes across as kind of damp, dull, and cheap looking. At least when compared to GOT, which is what a lot of people are doing. Whatever. Still excited to see if it's any good. Hope it is.

Finished The Witcher gang. Was pretty damn good aside from some pretty cheap cgi and shit. But that's nothing to be too bothered about. The individual sword fighting scenes were so dope. The war scenes were pretty under produced especially compared to GOT. But like I said, the individual fights were some of the best I've seen on TV for sure (especially the end of episode 1). Story wise. Pretty difficult to keep up with some stuff especially if you've never read the books or played the games. But I like that because I don't want to be spoon fed a bunch of shitty exposition. And now I have this song stuck in my head

Jonesing for some Narcos so started season one again a couple of hours ago, only to find out Narcos Mexico S2 is streaming in a couple of days. Shoulda just waited for Better Call Saul S5 dang it. HYGS make everything else pretty boring.
Anybody watching The Outsider? It’s not bad but I didn’t read the book and I’m a little lost. Also started Avenue 5. Not loving it but it’s not terrible.
