Was just checking out some different SEC teams schedules.

Lane's Rebs open with Baylor, then get a cupcake. After that Auburn, @ LSU and Bama.

East opponents are Florida and @ Vandy.

Sheet.

Heard on JOX this morning that Georgia is signing up to play Clemson 6 times over the next 12 years.

Damn. I guess with the East as down as it is they need another quality win to be deemed legitimate.

I wish we'd schedule some home and home games with teams in or near towns I'd actually be interested in visiting.
@Oregon, @Washington, @Colorado, @Boston College, @Staford, or @UCLA would be great.

I don't know. They have Ga Tech every year and lately have had decent match ups with Notre Dame, North Carolina going four years back. This year Virginia (i think they open with Clemson in 21).

Win those games and the SEC and yore in.

Add to this, a couple years they only had Ga. Tech. If they would have won the SEC with less than two losses they'd still probably be in.

Also they have a home and home a couple times in the late 20's early 30's with Clemson which means they will likely play clemson again in year 24-26. If it falls in 2025 they will have Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Ga. Tech, and LSU. No telling where the rest of the East would fall but if Stoops in still in Kentucky they will be a tough out.

So places that have already made it legal. lulz

Does this mean we still play 12 games or 8. Maybe they meet in the middle.

shorten the season or have 3 or 4 bye weeks?

guessing limit the number of fans.

If football is play d it will certainly be interesting.

Seeing the Big Ten's proposal is 10 games against only Big Ten.

Thinking conference only is best case scenario at this point. ND might or might not get to play a resemblance of an all ACC schedule. People keep asking me about the huthut season which is now only a bridge from the Summer to Bruceketball. “I once was lost....”.

Gonna be interesting if all the OOC games get dropped. The revenue from those games probably float a lot of athletic programs.

guess i'll be Debby Downer...
I have a hard time seeing the league and individual schools willing to take on the risk and expense of crowds at moment, i'm sure it can be done but the whole fan experience is about being shoulder to shoulder with thousands of other screaming (often non-sober) individuals cheering on your team and celebrating athletic acts that most of us could never dream of completing.
By the time you add crews for facilities, hospitality, testing, and additional cleaning there is little to no chance of making any money, not to mention the increased health risk to those crews.

We travel to Penn State next year, then CAL in 23, to Baylor in 25 & then the UCLANS in 27. I know I have the teams correct & pretty sure on the dates. Gonna try & make road trips to all if we aren’t extinct.

If anyone cares, SEC huthut schedule to be released on SECN 6 PM Greg time & 5 CDT. tbb all up in arms over how bad a draw the Boogs will get conspiracies & all. Still think the O/U games played will be five. Asterisk year anyway it’s sliced.

I had not seen the Waco and LA trips. Will definitely try to make all of those. Not too many boogs will enjoy Berkeley but it should be fun.

Can’t wait to see this years schedule. Expecting an epic break down from boog nation.

Big 10 just postponed the season till spring, but there's no way they actually play unless other conferences do the same imo. Gonna be an interesting few days to see the dominos start falling

This post is gonna be “political” but I’m guessing it won’t slow the traffic. After reading TBB a good bit the last few months, it amazes me that there are literally hundreds over there who think they live in North Korea for being asked to wear a mask in public places but have no problem telling 1000’s of 18 to 23 year olds around the country not to go anywhere for three months so they MIGHT be able to watch college football on Saturdays this fall.

I want football, not just because I’ll “lose” TUF money if they don’t play. Only for other selfish reasons. No matter how bad I want it, I can’t imagine it working out from beginning to end. I hope I’m wrong.

this whole last few months has exposed so much hypocrisy on both sides that it's infuriating

I wouldn’t argue that it’s both sides for sure. Maybe it happens and surprises me and works out. I do know that after the first tests we reported 3 cases. Only one legit player. A week and a half ago we had 11. Not reported officially that I’ve seen. Those numbers haven’t and won’t be legitimized. My hope is that we get all cases were gonna have in the next couple of weeks. The numbers on people who get it twice are microscopic, even compared to the tiny, tiny numbers of people in that age group who have serious issues.

Your run of the mill college huthut fan doesn’t deserve a season that’s for sure. Will give me a chuckle if it eventually gets cancelled even though I’m a slight lean in favor of it happening.

What I'm reading is do not renew now that the football is gearing back up.
Just saying I prefer this site a ton more than tbb & it’s free. I can scan it occasionally & see what I’m not missing over there just for sh!ts & giggles. I will NEVER go over there & be a part of the conversation the rest of my life. Don’t watch news anymore either FWIW.

...ok, ill say it: "i can't believe the SEC is going to allow fans in the stands" seems really irresponsible, but hey why not?

I’m saying this without reading what their policy is. But if you’re gonna have kids living in dorms together and packing them into classrooms too, then then there’s no damn reason to prevent them from attending something in an outdoor venue.
