Gonna go ahead and fire this one up as this is one of the games we've all been waiting for. Blue Blood vs Blue Blood. Even though both teams are sort of in a down year, the coaching battle and brand recognition for both squads still makes this one MUST WATCH TV. Unfortunately I may be busy, but I will try to find a way to plunk my pretty little ass in front of screen to WITNESS Sharife once again.

Fun little thought experiment that I was just thinking about. We all know Sharife was recruiting super recruit nad HS teammate BJ Boston to come ball with him in Boogville. As we all know, Boston chose to follow that grease ball dumpling lover Coach Cal to Kentucky, but he's had a very ho hum start to his career there. Still averaging a healthy 12 and 4 but shooting a terrible 36% from the floor and 17% from deep. Whereas, our sweet Boogie P and Allen Flanny are boasting much better numbers across the board. Question of course is, would super recruit BJ Boston even be starting for the HYGs this season? Discuss...

And Boogs by double digits.

This has all the makings of a blowout at the Clam if Boogie is back and playing at the level we’re accustomed to.

Interesting question on Boston. Would obviously be a much better and more confident player under BRUCE (and Steven). Playing in a system better suited to his game. Believe he’d be starting at 2 for us and playing well. But if the question is if he’s as good a player as Boogie or Al the answer is NO.

I hope we put it on them. I still made when I went up to UK back last Feb and we lost. Its time to show them whats up and bring the pain! I love seeing them struggle this year.

Well even UNC was down last year, so I’m ready to see these two Blue Bloods go at it. I will say we got that green ^, and our northern brothers looking all red. Also thinking we get that 🧹 out in Rupp Valentines Eve, but not getting ahead of myself.

all blame for Boston’s poor performance must be laid at the feet of NIKE

they were so afraid of BRUCE they up and moved him all the way across the gd country to California to play with Bronny James last year... a lost senior season of development, and a guaranteed starting spot for Cal robbed him of the precious time he needed with Steven

oh well, tough lesson to learn kiddo - but poor decisions are not without consequence

I was thinking about this earlier. Clearly the kid is talented, but after having seen Cooper for two games make everyone around him better almost instantly, I'm curious how that impacts other recruits when they don't have a Sharife-like PG to play with them in college. Boston is a talented kid, but he doesn't have a PG now like he did in his AAU days to facilitate and get him good looks. I wonder how often that happens to these highly ranked kids who play with other highly ranked kids.

For anybody that can read it. After 14 years, I finally saw Aler make a reasonably nice troll post on the bunk. Made fun of Tater and everything.

Missing being able to go to games this year. Going to the UK games in Auburn Arena the past two years have been some of the loudest I've been to. Starting to worry if we'll even be able to have full capacity next year too.
Bruce and Sharife will make it so next year. I have a strong urge to move to Boogville next Nov- March just to attend history. Already cut back on my chicken finger intake in preparation just in case.

I think we will see an uptick in attendance this year. The SEC is loosening Covid restrictions on spring sports so that is promising. I’d like to see how much each school/town lost because no one could come to games

Bruh, they're already announcing that that NYC and Chicago (please don't get politcal) are planning to open things back up in a big way just because it's not sustainable to keep everything shut down. Couple that with people continuing to get vaccainated everyday and we should have crowds in november. But that's just a guess

looks liek daddy is gonna be able to watch the game. So leggggggggggggggggooooooooooooooo

Looks like these two trash ACC teams gonna get some of our Boogin time. Said a bit ago no three seeds from that conference at this point, so let’s get on with it.

jesus ESPN - GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER... my guide had the game starting at 1:15 so I didn’t even bother trying to find an alternate feed

ACC game ends and feed switches over and we’re 4 minutes into the game... AND Jimmy Dykes is on the call

the moronic leadership at ESPN could fvck up a wet dream

Both teams ice cold in the first half, whoever can focus up in the second half wins. Maybe some offensive scheme adjustments would help rief.
