omg...may i fall asleep to this F-O-R-E-V-E-R

guys... Coleman was ELECTRIC... as they scroll past a bevy of beautiful, old ass honkeys who can barely muster the energy to clap, much less actually cheer

It was a pathetic crowd. I take back what I said about The Clam being slightly disappointing at times this year because we are light years ahead of the environment in Coleman

Be interesting to see what Bruce does if Austin actually gets healthy. I don’t wanna disrupt the flow going on now but he still may be needed
I’d play Wiley 10-15 minutes a game and never throw the ball down to him on the block. He hasn’t earned us to waste possessions on his poor offensive play.

I still think he’s needed. Mac don’t bring much if he’s not hitting threes

he had a couple of moves tonight where he actually attacked off the dribble and created - or attempted to create - for someone else... one ended in a layup or dunk and the other ended up in a turnover after he dribbled too far under the basket

but I’m choosing to believe it’s another sign that he’s feeling healthier and more confident in his leg, and showing more agility

I don’t expect it to be a weapon this season, but if he adds a little more of that to his game to attack closeouts, we can play a true 5 out offense and makes us that much tougher to guard and helps compensate offensively for being so undersized defensively

He had a pretty key block late too. And snatched that attempted inbounds lob out of the air

I take it back, he was decent tonight

Samir, Malik, Jared, and Danjel all had as many or more rebounds than him. I just don’t get why he isn’t able to grab more boards at this point in his career
Both him and Horace seem to lack instincts of anticipating how the ball will bounce or something. It’s hard to explain

whew....that one was stressful boys

I'm gonna be up hella late now. Still wired up

Chuma the only stud that played like a stud the entire game. SBJ had a pretty rough start and only got it together when we started that run and he finished the game for us like a champ (also, I know ppl get pissed when he gets stuffed at the rim some but we're better when he drives more). Malik was both good and bad Malik tonight. Bad early, but good when he helped key our 18-2 run that changed the game. Purifoy was total non-factor. He let Chalky McChalkerson be on the court and not have to play any defense. Man that's super disappointing.

Chuma is doing that thing guys. He's become what we knew he could. Give me Chuma/Harper/Bryce cooking and nobody wants this. We're gonna likely need either Malik or Samir to be good in each tourney game. They don't have to both peak, just need one. JVon is getting my trust. If this team had a better option at C that could play the tempo/style of Bruce we'd be a killer.

could be something to that... especially since people always like to talk about how rebounding is mostly effort or “want” to - and zod knows that’s not a problem for Horace

Is some of this scheme possibly. We only conceded 8 offensive boards to them despite having a pretty large discrepancy in height and weight. Our the C's just told to box the hell out and keep a guy like Hall off the glass and let Okeke/Samir/Malik types come in and grab the board?

On the other hand, I'd like to see both Horace and Mac get a few more on the offensive glass. Horace's effort alone should lead to more 2nd chances for us

Gonna be interesting to see what type of coach Bama goes after once Avery either leaves on his own or gets fired. Can’t see him being back now

In fairness Bama throws up bricks the likes of which most D1 players haven’t seen since middle school. Tough to anticipate shots that hit so much backboard and graze so little iron. That and Chuma owned the glass.

SECT seeding scenarios:

With a win against Tennessee
- 4 seed with a South Carolina loss to UGA
- 5 seed with a South Carolina win

With a loss to Tennessee (we hold almost no tiebreakers)
- most likely seed would be 7 if chalk holds and we get into a 3/4/5-way tie with Ole Miss, Miss St, and Florida or SCar(if they lose)
- possible to be the 8 seed if Florida beats both LSU and Kentucky in their last two games
- 6 seed if Florida wins both, we lose to UT, and OM and MSt lose
