We are only 3/11 from 3 with them hitting 4 3s. PJ Washington is killing us with 15 points. We have done a nice job controlling the rest of them. If you told me he would score 15 and they would outshoot us from 3, I would have assumed we were down by 15+ at the half.

Hero has 2 fouls. Need to go at him early in the 2nd and see if we can get him into foul trouble. Ho has to be careful with 3 fouls already.

could’ve been worse - should’ve been better

holding our own on the defensive glass - they’ve got 3 offensive boards but I think 2 are off bullshit free throw bounces... they’ve only gotten 1 of 8 from their misses

we’ve gotten 4 of 18 from our misses... the problem is me missed 19 goddamn shots - a lot of them wide open... once we settled in, we’re getting pretty good looks... not great looks, because they defend us better than anyone else in the country can - but good enough looks we can beat them

3-11 from 3... if we get the same looks this half, add a couple of more missed opportunities when we didn’t drive & kick or swing the ball quickly enough, knock down 8 this half shooting in front of Steve - say 8-14 - and we will win this game

Kentucky has also missed some wide open looks,second half grinder coming up.

Agreed. If we are shooting our normal percentage on open looks, we are winning this game by 2-3 possessions right now.

Damn wish that rotten, handsome youngster Ashton missed that last 3 but we in this. That 3 ball need to show up and it usually does in front of Bruce and Steven.

They are about a 30% 3 point shooting team and are shooting their season average so far. We certainly can't afford to have them hit 4 3s in the second half. Have to hope they go cold and we get up to our season average.
