So I’m reading and looking at all those tweets about Okoro and Sharife Cooper balling out at that tourney and I don’t see any pictures of Akingbola on the team. I wonder if he’s reclassifying like Austin did and could be at AU in January?

I think he’s out of HS/ Boog Jr squad eligibility. He was supposed to be here in the fall but there was some snafu with his visa or something. Now nobody on the internet seems to know where the child is or when he will get here. Hopefully he just shows up in a few days.

For what it’s worth but Rodney doesn’t think Strech will be here in Jan but it would nice for him to practice against Austin and red shirt this year.
Welp Rodney would know. Bizarre the kid was reportedly on campus a couple days before fall semester ready to go then all of sudden he goes missing. Would have been nice for his development for sure even if he wasn’t gonna play this year.

Would be incredible if Cooper reclassifies and we could sign him this year. Give us sweet baby J at the 1 and Cooper at the 2 next year with both of them racking up assists to Okoro and Chuma.

Wish he had been coming out last year because we might have been able to give him a spot with no other recruits coming in.

ITs funny but tweets like this happen a lot. When Bruce shows up they usually specifically mention he is there.
They usually only mention head coaches by name. Guessing the other schools just sent assistants

Indeed. He would be a great addition. His highlight reel is pretty impressive. Can create his own shot and knock down contested 3s, quick enough to beat people off the dribble and get to the rim, and plays really hard on D. Ranked #49 by rivals so its possible the old guard blue bloods don't come after him hard. We will have to fend off UT and Vandy for him.
Was just coming here to post this. Trash comp or not, those stats are phenomenal. In days gone by, we could only dream of brining in such a player. Now he’s not even getting a lot of attention because Okoro and Jones are more highly rated. Our cup runeth over.

He eliminated us a month ago so doesn't seem we were a serious contender.
