if Jeff Capel was still at Duke I’d go ahead and chalk this one up as a “L”... but with Bowman, all of Boston’s AOT HYG teammates, and the success our Georgia boys have had recently - if ever there will be a setup we could actually beat Duke for a top 5 kid, this is it

I DVRd this and watched some of it. Thoughts:
HS basketball is complete trash. Just terrible.
Okoro is a grown teen amongst toddlers. He didn’t get to do much they kept saying the other team wasn’t gonna let him get loose. His J needs work but we all know Bruce will get him right in that regard.
Cooper is sick. Just ridiculous. Born to boog he’s D1 ready. Pretty absurd handle and court awareness for such a youngster. Gets the ball up the court with the quickness. Made a half court shot at the end of the 1st Q.
Okoro is too raw to be a one and done... the thought of Cooper, Boston, Okoro playing together in the 20/21 season is the single most exciting, legitimate, possibility for a Boog sports team in my life
watching Cooper highlights, Stretch is the perfect 5 man for those guys... he’s a bigger Mac, and with Cooper/Boston, all we’ll need is for Stretch to catch lobs, putbacks, and bleed for rebounds
that just leaves finding the right 4 - assuming Okoro nor Boston grow into a 4... and when has BRUCE ever had trouble getting production from his 4 man? could be Williams... could be another yet to be discovered HYG... could be Danjel if he’s working on his PhD
anyhoo... we legitimately could be starting 4 guys who have played together for years... I’ll quit my job and follow them across the country like a Dead Head
Oh god yes. I think it’s way more likely Bruce lands this Jayden Stone kid than Boston. And gimme gimme this goofy looking but highly skilled acne covered giant
"childhood friend" line has me feeling more and more like Cooper is a boog lock

Dallas Howell isn’t worth a scholarship but would be a good walk on. He should take his Troy offer. He looks bad in the Christmas tournament.
How incredible would it be if Cooper decides to reclassify and we could bring him in with Okoro next year? Sweet baby J returns to run the point, Cooper at the 2, Okoro, Chuma, Danjel, and Williams at the 3/4. That leaves us weak at the 5 with Stretch if Wiley leaves, but I bet Bruce could find us a grad transfer or JUCO to work the boards. Dear lourde, we are on the precipice of an incredible run.

If he reclassifies I don’t see him coming to AU unfortunately. My dream scenario is obviously that Jared stays next season, this child stays in the 2020 class, and then decides to lead Boog U to a title with his brothers Okoro and Akingbola
I think his decision hinges on Jared imo. Hagans about to go pro so it’s not gonna shock me if this young buck reclassifies and head’s to UK
Yeah I don’t see much noise outside the boogosphere that he’s reclassifying. I guess about anyone might these days. Cats got some stud PG committed for next year already so don’t think it would hurt our chances much.
Lost in the Baby Sharife discussion is that I think we all know Tyrell Jones is gonna be a baller. Excited to see that young man take the court next season

I doubt we ever see Stretch play for us. I hope I’m wrong. I’ll ask Rodney in the next couple days if there has been an update on him.
This whole thing is so bizarre and since it’s not huthut related the boog beat won’t find out what’s going on. Supposedly on campus ready to enroll in August then he somehow ends up in Africa with no return to the states in sight.

I have a young Boog that lives on this place for the great content. Never logs in, just reads all the takes.
Cliff Ellis got some underrated guys and did very well. Lebo and Barbee were terrible. Back in the day, Sonny Smith did very well. But Bruce has you guys in on elite talent. I'm hearing Cooper is probably going to Auburn. I think he's the best point guard in the class.
don’t toy with me... I felt great about Shariffe until the last week or two when Cal has really turned up the heat
we need to win a battle like that to get to the next level... and it would just be another piece to eventually getting Boston as well
Shariffe is the final stitch to closing the Davion sized hole in my heart... if he gets ripped away, I’ma bleed out unless Steven figures out a way to patch it with a $1000 jacket and $150 haircut
