Would like to know more of who Bruce is targeting for the front court in this class
Tough to tell who the frontline targets will be with the children still going through puberty. Depends a lot on which 6’3 athletic youngsters hit a 6” growth spurt.
Really looking forward to seeing what this guy can do next year. Damn, he puts up monster numbers. May take him a year to adjust to the college game, but I think he can be a big piece for us and is probably a 4 year player. Mix talented guys like Williams who stay 4 years with a couple of 1 and 2 and done types and that's a great recipe for success.

Huge to get him on campus for this game. Clam is going to be lit AF and should make a big impression.

has a decision about Sharife reclassifying been made or announced and I just missed it? this video from “senior night” highlights Sharife with the rest of the McEachern seniors and even lists him as a senior at the end of the video
neither can I... UK has a 5 star guard signed, but I’ve seen him listed as a PG, SG, and combo guard... I’d suspect he and Sharife could play together
I’d also suspect Sharife could take Bryce’s starting spot and he and Jared could play together just as well as he could share the backcourt with the UK kid
if Jared were to leave, I think we’d have to be the favorite... he’d be a guaranteed starter and primary ball handler from day 1, playing with guys he’s played with for years
still so many moving parts... it’s the downside to competing with the big boys... but I don’t even want to think about the potential downside to any of this movement
Bruce has played a lot of minutes with Jared and Jvon on the court together this year. I’d imagine he could easily do the same with Sharife and Jared if that’s how it worked out. Both alternating between the one and the 2.
The optimist in me thinks that both Okoro and Cooper both wanna play together bc they’re best friends. And Cooper may think Okoro could be one and done so he’s definitely coming to Boogville to play with his best bud for at least one last season

Is Okoro being a one and done more likely than not? I hadn’t considered that a real possibility
It’s unlikely. It’s more likely though that all kids think they’re one and done. So that delusion or over confidence could be motivating to them if they really do want to play together

I think Boston is the most likely one and done of the AOT kids we’re recruiting, but even that would work out if Sharife reclassifies, Boston comes the year after, and all 3 go after the 20/21 season
Agreed. I think Okoro has a lot of work to do to become a 1 and done. At a minimum he would probably need to shoot a high % from 3 which isn't really in his repertoire at the high school level because he has been so dominant attacking the basket. He should help us next year, but I doubt he dominates immediately.
Getting Okoro and Sharife together next year would be massive. They already have the kind of chemistry it takes a year or more to develop so that would greatly reduce the learning curve for them. Give them a year together and then add Boston and we'd be loaded up for a title run.

Okoro is having an incredible year, but not sure how he got the award over Cooper. His numbers have been absolutely insane.
