Any work on what Herro will do? I would assume he will declare and go through the process to get a firm projection on where he will end up.

DM8, since Herro is projected in the 1st round according to most mock drafts, I would say he will put his name in the draft and leave open the option to return to UK based on the feedback. Keldon Johnson is doing the exact same thing. According to those in the know, Herro has loved his time at UK and is open to returning. Again, time will tell.
It appears he is a mid 1st round guy so yall could get him back. I have seen Johnson as high as 6th so I assume he is more likely to not pull his name out.
You are right. I was surprised that Johnson is leaving open the option to return. I think the #6 projection is a bit high compared to some of the other boards which have him as a borderline lottery pick or lower. As a selfish fan, I think he could use another year in college to further develop his game, especially his defense. Coming into UK, many thought he would be a lockdown defender. At times, he really struggled at that end of the court. There is no question that his game will translate well in the NBA. The question is: do you go ahead and take the money now or fortify your overall game with another year in college and improve your overall draft stock?
