I rememba you givin my azz sum scoop on PICKENS lazt year. If dis kid continues to go to CAMPS, he kood be RATED a top 15 PLAYA in da KUNTRY.
Itz all about THEM CAMPS and he seemz to be goin to them.
We gunna have to WITHSTAND the barrage frum tuzkalooza, KLEMPSUN and errybody elze but havin NIX helpz a lot heer.

My Auburn credentials are impeccable but I actually value that people who meet me don't know what my team affiliation is. I don't even think I own an Auburn shirt that can be worn in this decade.

Hard to complain about anything he's done really. Him and T-Will have ended up being great hires.

The Grimes hire is the most head scratching to me

Given the current climate of what we’re up against on the recruiting trail, Grimes was a program-ruining hire.

Just reeks of amateurish leadership with zero long-term vision.

We were less than 20 days from signing day. We still had guys we had a "chance" with. Gus made the safe hire. JB can coach and he'll coach this year and then ride off into the sunset if I was a betting man.

He will be here long enough to not sign a single legit OT for yet another year, which we absolutely cannot afford at this point. That will make 1 SEC level tackle signed in 4.5 cycles under JBG.

Our previous OL struggles the past couple of years are 100% JBG’s fault. Most of our fanbase is just too stupid to understand that though.

JB Grimes will not ruin the program(Auburn football). You over exaggerate way to damn much. 2 years ago it was Jodi and how that wet behind the eared mother fvcker would NEVER live up to the shade wearing GQ model Dameyune Craig.
 
I don't think JB Grimes will be at AU for just one year. Panic hire or not, he's gonna be here for two or three. Zahn hasn't gotten rid of any staff member yet, even Old Greg, after just one season of service.

I doubt Zahn forced him out. My guess is that Herb wanted a raise/extension and Zahn wasn’t wiling or authorized to give how much Herb wanted. So Herb went and found himself a fat paycheck and I bet it caught Zahn a bit by surprise that he could

I'd take GRIMES ova HERB any day!!!
Keep in mind, dat when GRATEWOOOD startz taking SNAPPZ, we ain't gunna need much of an O-LINE!!

I don't think he forced Hand out either. From what I understand they are decent friends. I could see a scenario where other coaches on staff might not be into Hand, leading Zahn to talk to Hand about opening up his services.

Also, Texas immediately reaped some rewards from the Hire. Hand is a decent recruiter.

He might be but his recruiting at auburn was a little underwhelming overall imo.

I don't think we would have gotten either, even if Hand had stayed. We would have had a better shot, but I still think they head to Florida and UTsr.

That’s your prerogative but losing Hand and adding a complete zero like Grimes made it a certainty in missing on them, while also vastly decreasing our chances on top guys in the 2019 class, which will devastate boog football.

Texas A&M and LSU. We can’t beat LSU away from Jordan-Hare and Aggy is now much better coached than we are, imo. We tend to beat these teams every other year as is, but now we’re gonna be hemorrhaging talent on the LOS. Not a good recipe.
