Who's the last good player AU has had from Mississippi? Quinten Groves? I can't think of anyone else but I could easily be missing someone.
forgot about Bates too. Amazing that he's still in the NFLI guess it depends on how you define "good player"
For me? Shon Coleman and Darren Bates
Unfortunately, it also produced Chaz Ramsey
Bates was in Memphis most of his time right? Thought I remembered him being from thereI guess it depends on how you define "good player"

Boogs seem to have one elite player locked down at almost every position right now now except for OL. Doubt JB Grimes holds up his end of the bargain. But still shaping up to be a really nice class
Still sounding like a Boog lock. Lol at Crean and Avery’s pitch. If they couldn’t distribute boatloads of cash they’d have no chance with anyone Bruce was after.
yeah. Would like for the young man to just go ahead and make it public. Get some crootin momentum going for this important 19 classStill sounding like a Boog lock. Lol at Crean and Avery’s pitch. If they couldn’t distribute boatloads of cash they’d have no chance with anyone Bruce was after.
I was talking to the juco coach that I'm friends with. He said the kid we signed the other day is a really good player. He watched him at a showcase back in the fall. No one thought he was going to graduate juco. You have to graduate juco with a certain amount of hours to play D1.
He also thinks that Bruce should hire Sharman for the coaching vacancy. He said he would lock down GA. He also said if Sharman would have been on staff here that Collin Sexton would have played here.
I'll ask him. Rodney loves AU. He supports basketball more than football. He'll be flying with the team to Maui.

How am I wrong? Do you know for a fact and can you prove with evidence that what I said is incorrect? If not, then why even engage in this debate in the first place? (I know the answer to this, it's your thing to play Mr. Wordsmith, that's why)
I have already provided actual evidence where you contradicted your self by saying one day bumps do happen because of offers and then in another thread saying that rivals does not bump a rating because of offers, but you think they should.
So yes, I can factually say you contradicted yourself. Im not offering my opinion on that. That is a fact
That's not "evidence", it's playing wordsmith...as I said it's not a contradiction, one doesn't negate the other. Seriously why are you trying to debate me on this?
You should post this to his last replyI have no idea where this should go, but rice is extra special today:
I love when Rice tries to give people nicknames and they never stick. He tried to call someone CNN because he thought they were always lying or something. He had some others and they're always so cringy and corny. Guess you're now Mr. Wordsmith and that doesn't even make senseI have no idea where this should go, but rice is extra special today:

Edit: Maybe you're confused on the difference between attending a camp and actually receiving an offer(while not attending a camp). On one hand you have a guy like Oj Howard who attended camps(both rivals and Auburn/Alabama) and was evaluated based on his performance at those camps.. On the other hand you have a guy like Sammie Coates, who didn't attend camps, but was offered late by Auburn and rated a 3 star. Both players are currently in the NFL. Both of these situations occur very often in recruiting(and don't negate each other in anyway), and why stars themselves don't always hold value compared to the coaches doing the evaluations(Trooper was a better evaluator of Coates talent level than Farrell)
Again, the comment you made didn't reference camps. it only referenced offers.
And you actually commented that Howard got his 5 star because of the Bama offer, not because of him attending camps. All you discuss about camps was that he attended an Auburn and Alabama camp.
Howard got offered AT Alabama's camp though(and committed), that post you quoted was after BMatt already acknowledged this, thus I thought that was understood.
Correct. Just like Coates, he attended a school's camp and earned an offer. But we are not discussing earning offers. we are discussing you saying bumps do happen because of offers, but then coming out the next day and saying offers don't impact rankings (but they should).
If you are now wanting to discuss earning offers, that is moving the target and has nothing to do with your previous comments being discussed
Coates never attended any camps and was a USM commit until very late when we offered in January I believe(IMO he should have been a 4 star at least due to the Auburn offer and the coach that evaluated him, Trooper Taylor).. Again why are you debating me in a topic you have no clue about?
Nope. He and Denson attended the same Auburn camp during the summer and both earned offers due to their performance and commited in July.
I know. And you are wrong yet again.
There are just too many threads of his to choose from. The one where he claimed that the Bible was the most historically accurate document in history was an all timer. Also the thread where we discovered he was a “coach” was also too classicI went back and read the entire "Payed" thread and the thread where rice questioned everyone who put groceries on their credit cards.

I love you @CowardlyToaster
The payed thread was the trigger for my first ever ban. I’d love to go back and read it sometime..I went back and read the entire "Payed" thread and the thread where rice questioned everyone who put groceries on their credit cards.

Can’t believe someone could ever think their running ability was similarNever forget when Rice called us all racists for not thinking Jarret Stidham could run as well as NM14. Also I remember him saying something to the effect that Tyler Queen was a legit DTQB until his shoulder injury turned him into a fatty.

@cookedw remember how some experts told him JT Barrett sucked and he guaranteed he would get drafted
That’s right, I was wondering why I remembered that from recentlyPretty sure I bumped that after he went undrafted and somehow he tried to argue he was right
what was his position on JT Barrett?@cookedw remember how some experts told him JT Barrett sucked and he guaranteed he would get drafted
what was his position on JT Barrett?
Rice, go on record now. Where does JT Barrett get drafted as a QB next year?
Yes, absolutely. A QB coached by Urban Meyer that has only lost 3 games in his college career will get drafted to the NFL. Is this a trick question?
Where. What rd? You seem to be infatuated with him and by bringing up watson you are kind of implying he could be a first rounder.
What rd?
I mean this projects him to be the #6 QB overall in the 2018 draft right now, so I'd guess 2nd-4th rounder.

Ha. Yeah he was correcting meThat thread delivered in so many ways. I had forgotten about the additional great things in that thread. Not just the fact that he misspelled paid, but then linked on why payed was acceptable (it wasn't). The the "plural of Nazi" debacle. Then him correcting "who's" with "whose" when "who's" was correct (he may have been "correcting" you)
