Can't say that I'm too familiar with any player on the UF squad nor have I watched more than just a few minutes of one of their games this season, but I'm certain that they'll be a tougher test than what the Boogs just encountered against those scrubs from MSU.

Vegas clearly isn't getting carried away with the Boogs' dominating performance on saturday though as the line makers only have the Tigers as a meager 3 pt favorite against Dan Mullen's group of children.

Like I said, I have no idea if UF is any could, but a healthy Schwartz and a healthy Seth Williams just creates so much trouble for opposing defenses and spreads them vertically and horizontally that it opens everything up for young Bo. I don't think the Boogs pulverize them in an absolute beat down, but I've got the Boogs by two touchdowns + in this one. Thinking 31 - 14

If Gus keeps calling games like he is and Auburn can take the crowd out early it could be a blowout. I haven’t been impressed with what I’ve seen from UF.

College Gameday will be doing their show from the game. I probably have a little more apprehension than most over this game. It has been a while since we have played there, but Florida Field has been like a House of Horrors in the past. Our record down there is pretty terrible.

Their quarterback is pretty accurate when given time and their receivers are pretty good. They could give our secondary some problems. They struggle to run the ball and I think they almost no chance of running the ball against our defense

Defensively they have one of the better pass rushes we have seen and they are supposedly getting a key defensive end back from injury this week. Their defensive coordinator also believes in pressuring the quarterback and will blitz if that is what it takes. This is at least a little worrisome because Bo still has happy happy feet when he is pressured

Gang it is pretty simple. The Gus offense will go as far as the running game takes it. Obviously QB play is important, but everything Gus does works better if you have to commit to stopping the run. Oregon had a surprisingly good DL, they stymied the offense more than anyone else this season. Purdue got blown out because their DL wasn't good. State got blown out for the same reason. Schwartz helps because he stretches the field both vertically and horizontally. If Florida can stop the run with their front 7, it will be a long night for us. If they cant and their DC brings the house then Gus will have answers for that with screens and deep balls. I hope he also has some RPOs because Nix is really good at those, though I believe most of what I have seen this year has been play action.

Kind of wild that we're only five games in and Nick Coe only has 8 tackles and zero sacks. He was a pre season all american over Marlon and I guess his new position as an OLB has kind of limited his impact on D. Plus Truesdale I guess has been too good to take off the field at the other tackle spot so it's just tough to get ole Nick involved more. At this rate, he may be sticking around another year

If we can hit those corner routes and back shoulder throws down field it really won’t matter how good the defensive backs are. There’s nothing you can do against that. I think we run behind Tega and Harrell early to bait those safeties and get Bo running some.

I hope we’ve been on the phone with the SEC about how teams are holding Derrick Brown.

Looking at Wiki on this game & found this rather strange nugget

1976: Attack of the War Eagle[edit]
Coach Doug Dickey's 1976 Gators and coach Doug Barfield's Tigers played a strong defensive game, with the Gators' winning margin coming on two pass plays—with some help from Auburn's mascot. The decisive score came late in the game when Gators quarterback Jimmy Fisher tossed a short pass to wide receiver Wes Chandler, who caught it, reversed direction twice, and weaved his way through the entire Auburn defense for a 64-yard touchdown reception and run.[28] After Chandler ran out of the end zone, Auburn's mascot, the War Eagle, jumped off its perch and started clawing at Chandler's shoulder pads.[29] Referees marked off the 15-yard penalty against the mascot on the ensuing kickoff.[30] Florida won 24−19.[28]

You guys will whip Florida. Hell, we beat them on both lines of scrimmage for 3 quarters until we started playing not to lose in the fourth quarter. We gave them that game, and we haven’t been the same since.

When given time, Trask is is very capable and accurate. Given how good your defense is, I think you will get to him often and render him ineffective. With regard to their pass rush, they only sacked our QB once and that was on a blown assignment. Our offensive line pretty much held them at bay.

Trask is better

It won’t matter after your defense plants his ass in the turf multiple times. Florida hasn’t faced a defense like Auburn. We couldn’t pressure him effectively when he took over for Franks in Lexington. Against UT, he had all day to throw that he could have smoked a cigar in the pocket. That ain’t happening this Saturday. Go Tigers!

I’m not certain UF’s offense is good enough to outscore us. We will only need to score 17 or so I would think

only concern after very minimal research is turnovers... Bo has protected the ball well since Oregon, but our backs love to put the ball on the ground and Florida has forced a ton of turnovers - I think 4 fumbles and 9 picks... to compare, I think the Boog D is at 4 & 1

so... fumble early - give them an easy score - get the crowd in the game - Bo makes a freshman mistake - and now we’re in trouble

avoid turnovers and Boogs should take care of business... 27-13ish feels about right

That has absolutely nothing to do with the game on Saturday.

I like the under in the game. 48 1/2? My bookie doesn’t release the O/U until later in the week for some reason.

Crazy to think how time flies but the last time the Boogs played UF was when our WR coach was a freshman on the team. Crazy

kodi would have been a freshman then no?
Edit he moved over for Cam to start didn’t he so could not have been a freshman.man getting old sucks.
Yeah 2010 was his senior year. A girl I knew at Auburn met him in 2009 while I was there and he told her he needed some one on one tutoring for math. So she talked to me about if I wanted to tutor him.

I think she may have been a tad naive to the situation

Don't sell yourself short. I'm sure Kodi may have been appreciative of your "tutoring" skills, too. NTTIAWWT

Still very skeptical about Gus, but I’ve enjoyed this year so far. They addressing all of this on Game Day saying we named our stadium after a corch that won one conference championship in 25 years. Using that to try & make a case for Gus & it’s a pretty good argument IMO

It’s a loser mentality. We can’t be any better than we have been in the past. The game today is 100% about recruiting. Chizik failed to capitalize on a natty. Gus has failed to capitalize on his early success. If we had elite OL and RBs, we would be playoff contenders. Anyone going to argue that we couldn’t have those pieces just because in the past we’ve only won 2 Nattys?

Dye should have a natty and AU was the only school that played UF LSU bama and UGA. There were t divisions and scholly limitations. Dye doesn’t get enough credit by people today bc people only look back at end results and a lot of those results are from things he could t control. That Miami Nebraska game should have made us the champs but AU wasn’t “big” enough
