Steele has always been like this. We just had one year with NFL corners and upper tier safeties with a stud DL and LBs.
Steele moved to the field so he could make adjustments quicker
I should add that I like Steele and if Gus was actually an offensive mastermind then he would be a perfect compliment. But if you need him to suffocate the other team for victories then you’re likely in trouble.
One positive thing I will say about Gustopher. His teams always fight hard and have a bit of grit. I think it is a result of them realizing that Gus puts them in shit situations and that they have to rally every week to earn it for themselves. But. . . dammit, Bo. Don’t throw it to the other team. Gus doesn’t have enough answers to Rain Man his way out of that.
I don’t like much about our OL
He’s looked better than I expected but yeah a true freshman being coached by Gus isn’t a great recipe.
