****** Official Boogs vs Razorbacks Game Thread ******

Ryan Davis with best looking throw of year, my goodness

Lol. Ryan Davis with a dime

It’s his Super Bowl guys. It is abundantly clear he cares more about this game than any other

Driving home listening to the radio and this play happened. First I cussed Malzahn and my wife was very confused why I was cussing after a TD. Rod says "this is how you learn from last week" on the radio and I almost drove off the road with my hatred of the AU fAUmbly.

Gus - Year 3-5

Wait until week 3-4 to decide who your horses are.
Come up with inprobable ways to lose big games.
Pick stone hand senior to be your go to WR.
Get on hot streak in October.
Lose in Amen Corner.
Finish with 7-8 wins.
State that the future is bright.
Collect $4 mil salary, and get extension with ridiculous buyout.

And say that "this team reminds me of the 2013 team in a lot of ways"

Being for real. If MALIK is the guy and Gus is made to run the NARSHALL offense I wouldn't mind him sticking around. He's still a terrible game manager though, so maybe not. Anyway, that young man makes my britches snug up front.

There are parts of me that agrees with this, but that LSU game is going to be a tough for me to forgive.

OMG look at this fuggin goob. Somebody gif this bad boy for me please.

I’m convinced that Gus could be the best coach the boogs ever had if he’d agreed to let Nick Saban be his life coach. He just needs a no-nonsense daily reminder to not be a stubborn stupid shit doer.
Probably so, but I don’t think he’s sees anything wrong with how he does things. He lacks self awareness and doesn’t possess the capability to see the flaws in his coaching. He knows to say it every now and then, but I think he truly believes all offensive failures are due to lack of execution

You’re talking about Saban, right?

Guys that was an excellent interview for Gus Malzahn and Arkansas. The agents will be talking soon. My Arky buddies were furiously texting last night asking if we still wanted to can Gus cause they desperately want to replace Bert with the home state hero.

All things considered, potentially a big night for Awbren.

This is the frustrating thing to me. I love the offense, but there are many people out there now running his offense better than he does. He recruits pretty well (even though he is a giant derp), but he hasn't recruited the two most important positions to his offense well - QB and RB. He actually learned from the mistakes of 13 and 14 and found a way to get a defense that would be insanely good if it was paired with his offense when it was rolling. He tried to add a better passing element to his offense, but then limits the guy he brought in to add that element. It's just always one step forward, two steps backwards with him.

that’s my current dream scenario, but I’m not sure I could live in a world where a Gus Malzahn corched team beats Auburn

I will gladly roll the dice and take that chance... but Gus and JJ are going to be the death of me by hook or by crook

I look for Chavis to be dialed up to shut the HS BS down. He'll try to kill the run while leaving some safeties back for the deep ball. No reason to worry about the middle of the field until Gus/Chip/Stidham decide to start consistently utilizing it. The last 4 years have been some of the most gutless offenses I've ever seen called, especially in the RZ.

Why? You currently live in a world where a Coach O coached team had a huge come from behind victory against Auburn in red stick to continue a near 20 year win streak.
