I really really really hope this match makes messi just fuggin explode and have the tournament of a lifetime. He's far and away the best player in the world. Just wanna see him prove it to everyone.
Lol at Germany getting knocked out. Tourney is wide open. Would really like to see Columbia win. They're the most fun team to watch imo and have some really likable players as well.

after a blistering start, this match has been pretty fuggin boring. Croatia still the faves but anything can happen if this goes to penalties and Denmark has the better keeper
Still more exciting than a game where one team has 90% possession and ends in PK’s? Of course the PK’s are awesome but the rest of the match was dreadful.
Terrible penalty from Modric. Thinking that should have been a red for the Danish defender there. Denying a clear goal scroing opportunity is a straight red. Not that it really matters with 3 minutes left

lulz...ain't nobody gonna leave russia alive if their team fails to win. no doubt there has been more than luck behind this path to the qt finals.
I almost wish Russia would win the whole thing. Trump could wear his Rooskie gift jersey from Vlad, with his name on the back, to the next SOTU address.
