Here’s the juiciest tidbit on Danjel:

Auburn fans have been waiting to see a full season of the 6-foot-8 sharpshooter, and this is his last chance. Fortunately for him, he’ll be coming off what coaches and teammates have called the best offseason of any Tiger.

“He’s in the gym at least two or three times a day, working with (graduate assistant and former NBA player Marquis Daniels) on his jump shot,” McLemore said. “From where we ended last year to this season, he’s probably the biggest leader in overall development. He was really limited last year except for the last couple of games. Once he gets that confidence back, he’ll definitely be a problem in the SEC.”

Auburn is hoping to get a veteran version of the Purifoy who scored in double figures in the first five games of his career and had three 20-point outings in the span of five games as a redshirt freshman. He’ll most likely be tasked with taking over Okeke’s role as a stretch 4, and consistency on the defensive end will be a continued point of emphasis.

“He’s not going to be a complementary player,” Pearl said. “He’s going to be one of our more dominant players.”

Spotlight on: Isaac Okoro
In one of his first practices, Okoro switched onto Wiley defensively. The 6-foot-11 senior big man lowered his shoulder and tried to back down the 6-foot-6 freshman wing.

The keyword is tried.

“Austin, usually when he bumps into you, you go back three or four steps,” Steven Pearl said. “Isaac didn’t move — and he’s done that multiple times. To see that, it’s unbelievable. He just doesn’t move.”

Gonna take some time but I think this HYG could be the new Z avatar. My goodness.

it's kind of inconsequential but i would like to know what numbers the new HYGs will be sporting this season. Can't find that info out there yet

That looks like a moron ranked those teams. Is that all time records? It would have to be...
I guess. Either way, it's a very poorly worded and misleading tweet. Sometimes dinguses do that intentionally though to get more attention and responses.

Via Jason Campbell:
Nothing new on Stretch at this point, but Auburn is still very hopeful that something gets done in the next couple of weeks. The Tigers are really hoping to get him on campus to get some experience this year so he can step in as a starter in 2020-21. Unfortnately, right now there is nothing new.
