OT: 2019 NBA Draft Thread

finally got around to watching the Chuma introductory presser... I feel a lot better about him in Orlando now... Clifford is a good coach - not great, but good - and the organization said all of the right things... more importantly, Chuma looked way more comfortable in that environment than I expected... he gave a lot of generic answers, but he wasn’t timid and didn’t seem out of his element

Orlando isn’t exactly a pressure cooker - and Chuma is always going to work hard and give great effort - so he should be able to avoid a lot of the stuff that could derail him until he matures a little more

I’m just really, really happy for him - and am shocked by how badly I want him to succeed... I’m way more invested in Chuma than any previous Boog athlete I can remember

this X's a bagillion. Chuma is such a great a dude and as a founding member of the HYGs he sets the standard for all to follow. Guess i'm a MAgic fan now. Whata guy and an example to other young players.

Kind of odd. But it’s possible that the Boogs have zero players drafted next season but we could just as easily have 3 or 4 if everyone plays well. That’s be bananas

If a young man doesn't want to play the 3 or 4 for Bruce I assume he's just coming from a wealthy family and doesn't think NBA life would be fun for him. Only thing that makes any sense at this point

Yeah I suppose there are some gifted youngsters that don’t mind throwing away millions. So be it.

That Bruce presser yesterday he talked about it being big for crootin if he could develop Chuma a top 50ish recruit into a 16 pick. Isaac a top 40 into a top 10 pick. Can see where this is going Sir Isaac gonna be a lotto pick at this rate and prob higher when that J gets nice come March.

Looks like the latest ESPN mock has Okoro going at the #15 spot. This will only improve as the season progresses. If he gets the proper Dungeon work to improve his outside game he will easily work his way into the top 10.

Yeah 5 still on the high end of his projections but the top 4 from this one don’t look like anything great. Haliburton not gonna go before Isaac. Right team wins the lotto its a possibility if that J keeps improving.
