I could see it in a few instances. On the offensive side I think putting him at the 3 takes away from his strengths. He's not a shooter at all but has been working on his midrange game a lot which could be big. As short as he is, he's still a terror in the paint. He hits the glass hard, wins all the 50-50 balls and uses his body so well down low. I'm a big fan as well. It's tough, role guys like him and Malik that I think will take this team to the next level.I'm a big Desean fan. He looks like a football player, and, though short for the kind of stuff he can do in the post, uses his strength and positioning well. I wonder how much we will see him at the 3 vs. the 4.

Welcome friend. Unfortunate Danjel didn't play but good to know we can vanquish a quality opponent without a couple studs. We won by more than double digits without Wiley and Purifoy.
So, my first job out of high school was with Balch & Bingham in Montgomery and I was a runner (courier). One of my responsibilities was to deliver civil subpoenas (which is what Auburn received). Nine and a half times out of ten, civil subpoena's are for records only and those who receive the subpoena are not in any trouble at all (unless they don't comply and produce the records that are requested). Being that the subpoena came from the FBI is inconsequential. It's just the DA requesting records to build their case against whomever they're really going after. If AU were actually in any trouble, the FBI would have secured a warrant and would have executed a raid and seized all computers and electronic devices as well as any/all hard copies of records pertaining to the case. This didn't happen, nor will it. So, as far as AU and Bruce in regards to the FBI investigation, I'm 99.9% positive we're all good. As for whenever this investigation ends and the NCAA gets involved, who the hell knows. You know as well as I do that the NCAA just makes shit up as they go and does not have any requirement of burden of proof. They'll hammer Auburn if it suits them, or maybe they won't. But I doubt anything more comes of this until next season at the earliest in regards to any NCAA investigation. In the mean time, I would bet that any of our athletes parents that may have taken any money has "confessed to doing so without any knowledge of such an act on their child's part and the money has been paid back in full." This sufficed when the precedent was set by the bama coach when he "loaned" money to the kid to get his car fixed or whatever that situation was and the NCAA rule in question didn't make any distinction between the reasons as to why a coach would be giving money to players and there was no $ amount threshold. I do believe McGlynn will earn his keep in this situation. (I hate paragraphs.)Good stuff gang. All docs due to the FBI today. If we don't hear anything in the coming days I suspect BRUCE is safe. Hopeful the studs involved will face short suspensions at most.
So kids can't even play in a closed door scrimmage if they're potentially ineligible? We won by more than double digits without Wiley and Purifoy.
That site sucks so bad that I had a comped subscription there and I still cancelled it.Ive never been a member there, but that site truly sucks. Just a hassle to even view their recruiting rankings
I like it. I think the longer this drags out the better for us.So, my first job out of high school was with Balch & Bingham in Montgomery and I was a runner (courier). I do reserve the right to be wrong with my 0.1% as I'm not privy to the FBI investigation. So, don't break out the pitchforks and lynching ropes if this thing turns in the wrong direction in the blink of an eye.I like it. I think the longer this drags out the better for us.

Our AD would have to be so sackless to suspend anyone for a significant portion of the season. Danjel seems like they have him on tape with the witness and possibly him or his family actually taking money. Still should only miss the non-conference. Austin doesn't seem like they really have anything on him. I don't see how he sits at all if they can't prove he knew anything about it or his family actually took money. It's a bit unpredictable for sure. I agree with you that the NCAA part of this, at least coming down on programs with sanctions, is a long ways off. The player eligibility issues are a bit more immediate and it depends on how the NCAA wants to handle that. I can see both sides of that. One being where they just try to make everyone mentioned in any of this ineligible to play until they have all the details or aggressively coerce them into coming clean in order for a chance to play this year. The other option is to make this about the overall system and not punish the players who were part of that, but use their situations to get all the information and try to figure out a path to end this kind of thing. In that situation they offer something like 10 game suspensions for full cooperation and sell that to the sports media world as "we're trying to see whats wrong with the system and we don't want to punish 18-20 year old kids in overly harsh ways in order to get there".
I actually think they might go with the "easy on players, try to fix the system" route. 10-20 years ago the sports media and fan world wanted players and programs to suffer max penalty for any cheating. Now the majority of sports media is mad at the NCAA for not paying players, for having archaic rules on amateurism and generally just not getting it. I think that has some play here. They'll want to look as fair as they can towards the kids and be as aggressive as they can in attacking issues within the shoe world and within AAU.
All that'll be remembered by then is those deep tourney runs. Our AD would have to be so sackless to suspend anyone for a significant portion of the season. By the time the NCAA sorts anything out it's gonna be 2-3 years in the future and a few dozen programs will be in the same boat. Maybe have to forfeit some games WGAS about that.

I think that situation plays out a lot differently if we aren’t marching toward a football Natty. Hopefully they learned it’s ok to tell the NCAA to fug off from that.I'll bash Jacobs for everything, but the Cam saga proved that he'll play kids if he thinks he can play kids. My bet is that if we see any angle to play the kids in questions we'll play them.
And the NCAA is going to tread lightly IMO. They don't want to keep a kid from playing, hurting their chances at NBA gigs and taking the blowback from that because they've created a system that sucks. I think they may get PR concerned and try to find the most easy to sell path out of this.
Mike being mike. What a stud.
Welcome brAUtherWe won by more than double digits without Wiley and Purifoy.
I’d say more likely. I don’t see anyway he’s back after this year unless he gets some strong feedback from the lig saying he needs another year.Do the concerns about Wiley's health make him more or less likely to leave early?
Don't care for the little tidbit from Bruce saying we'll indefinitely suspend anyone with eligibility issues. Hopefully that's not true.
Auburn checking in the 60s here. My CofC Cougars though are solidly in the 40s nod comfortably the top team in the colonial. Hopefully we make the dance this year
Yeah, disappointing. What good is a banner if you can’t take it down?Don't care for the little tidbit from Bruce saying we'll indefinitely suspend anyone with eligibility issues. Hopefully that's not true.
