I see the tbb coverage has really ramped up in the past few days.

Jgt and JLee both said they believe that AU will be playing with a full roster at the beginning of the season. Said the vibes around the program are much different than it was before.

Interesting stuff. Would consider this outcome a victory although losing EJ is a major bummer. Is the insinuation EJ one of the players involved in the FBI thing? I've been monitoring but seen basically nothing on EJs recruitment so was hoping that meant he could still be in play.

Mentioned Isaac Okoro and Elias King for the 2019 class, both Top 40 guys according to Rivals. Both are teammates/friends with the PF we could take in the 2018 class.

who's the PF? Sucks but would have been a tough pull on either of those dudes. Get a borderline 5* and 2-3 more top 100ish studs that's a legit haul.
They said it was some 3 star from GA that went to the same school as some of the 2019 and 20 studs. Think his name was stretch something
To be fair, these are the same guys that would not spend a couple hundred tax deductable bucks to travel to Tenn for Bball Media days because it was unlikely to matter.

Super impressive stuff from mike there. Loved seeing that Mac was hitting some mid range jumpers, and OKEKE looks like he's just gonna be a boss all over the court. Tons of dunks and opened the scrimmage with a 3. Expecting BIG things from that young man.
Yes both those stood out to me. CHUMA seems to be the total package at the 4.

Insidesource23 (who has been right some in the past) says that he thinks we still end up with EJ.
I'm not sure J-Lee and JGT 100% know what they are talking about with EJ. How can you be 100% sure that EJ is gone, yet not hear anything from the EJ camp? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Nice effort and I'll read anything related to our bball squad but clearly there are few out there with the hoops knowledge of the GREG.
The highlight video in there from Italy shows Mac driving from the baseline for a sick jam. I’m thinking his ball skills and shooting have improved a lot this offseason

I think it would be nice if we could finish OOC at 10-3. It's a deceptively tough OOC slate.
I'm thinking 10-3 OOC, 10-8 SEC play (20-11)
I'd be disappointed with anything less than 10-3 in OOC. Not like I'm expecting to run the table there but I'd like to think we'd be the favorite in 11 or 12 of those games.

Yes. Maybe need a SECT win or at least not a bad loss there but that should be enough.
I’d imagine Bruce would be more open about the scrimmage if the team wasn’t under investigation. Just easier to not say anything instead of opening yourself to more questions.

Just heard a young man call in on ESPN the Drive (hosted by Bill Cameron) talking Auburn Basketball. He could hardly contain his excitement level talking about the upcoming year and our roster of elite teens. This guy had to be a poster on THE GREG, that I'm certain of.
Anyway, Bryan Matthews is on the show today and he thinks we will know before Thursday who the players are for certain and if they are eligible or not. He brought up 3 different scenarios:
1) All players are deemed eligible to play. Austin sits out regardless with injury.
2) Players are identified and deemed ineligible to play.
3) Players are identified and deemed ineligible to play AND the players are to sit out a specific number of games and then eligible to play again after that.
I'm fine with #1 or #3 scenarios. If we can have our full roster eligible by Dec or Jan, we can manage our NC play just fine I think.
