So after having a conversation with someone on staff I think @Space Funk Booty could be right. From what I'm hearing we may not see either Austin or Danjel at all this year. I don't know anything about an announcement but it's not looking good. I would put our chances of seeing Danjel this year at about 10%. Austin probably closer to 50%. Doubt we see them any time soon either way. Hope things change but it looks bad right now.
Do you know if this is on AU compliance or on the NCAA?
Sux so hard. Some random twitterer suggested our compliance is making them pay off the alleged amount with suspension or sit the year. Now I take that with a large grade of slaw but sounds like some trash Boog U would come up with.
We actually talked about this. Not sure if it's completely true but it is a possibility that this is the case. Unfortunately, they don't think one of the players is able pay it. Idk if that means they don't have that kind of money to give or that it's true and they already spent the money. Makes you wonder if there's a distant family member with an illness or such we could start a go fund me for....

Pretty sure it's on our compliance. I mentioned the other day I think pretty highly of our compliance. Not to say that has changed but just to let everyone know there's been a compliance member with a office 5 feet away from Chuck's office for the last 3 years. Hard to blame it on anyone but Chuck but compliance couldn't have been more up his ass and this still happened.

I've got a family member in the AD. Jay is pretty much done but he isn't going out lightly. Wouldn't be surprised to see this drag on for a while. That said, I don't know much about the situation and I don't ask.

Not my place, and my guess is people in the AD know about as much as we do. The situation is really up to Leath and since the guys been on campus for only a few months, not many people even know the guy. And to be honest I really don't even care all that much. Unless Leath can turn it around, knowing Auburn we will hire another yes man who isn't near qualified.
I'm sure. The staff is still confident in the team though. We still have plenty of talent.
