We have basketball boosters that probably have that in cash in their pocket right now. One in particular just paid a few hundred thousand dollars to take the team, staff, family's and his family and friends to Italy for that tournament in August. The money is there.
I'm so very certain the majority of our boosters actually think AU plays by the rules and bama doesn't and that's why they won't pay. Some moral high ground over bama. If I had a couple million I wouldn't even need a call.

People really don't understand that this is the game. They actually believe there are a ton of top 10 players that don't take anything and are 100% clean. That's just not reality.
I will say that families like Wiley's have to know better because they've been in the game forever and if all they got was $7500 that's a bad risk. They don't seem like someone desperate for cash from all accounts. So either stay clean or tell Chuck that he needs to add a zero at the end to make it worth your risk.

Dude works in my wife's office and is a really good kid. Been the leader of the jungle student group at games for the last 2-3 years. He just graduated so his barning is probably at peak efficiency.
I do think he makes a solid point in that I think we will see other players suspended before their first game.
