I haven't heard or seen anything but damn that would be some shit. I highly doubt Bruce would completely refuse something in an investigation. Fortunately for us I think we pretty much have him pinned down to Auburn and to where he must comply. With his past, if he quits or is fired he can pretty much kiss being a basketball coach on the college level goodbye forever. Just my opinion though.
The only good thing is Bruce has that Boog stench on him so he can’t really go anywhere else. We’d have to have the biggest fuggin morons in charge to let him get away but that’s who we are.
And I will say probably good we don’t put some interim in charge. JJ deserves to be fired in shame but I don’t want any of our other idiots in charge either.

As of today I predict they will both play for us this year. There is much to still come out here.
Don't lose faith in this team as they are very talented even without these two and I do not believe they are lost for the year.

who tf knows... my somewhat moderately educated guess is BRUCE wants to play both - and is working to make that happen... but I don’t have faith he can get it done by Friday
my main questions as of now are -
when will Austin be healthy enough to play?
will he play that night?
I won’t be completely satisfied until Danjel steps foot on the court, and I’m not expecting that to happen anytime soon - if at all... but Austin is the more important piece, and every game he’s healthy enough to play but misses is a fireable offense
Agreed. There is absolutely no reason to not have him playing as soon as he is healthy.

Got a couple of texts saying Bruce was gone today. Then, a couple guys on the bunker said the same thing. I was told it was a Bruce vs McGlynn issue, and Bruce wanted Leath's support or he would resign. Some are saying Bruce has been terminated. Either way, it doesn't sound like he will be the HC for much longer.

If Bruce was involved in some way with paying players I can understand why they maybe had to do this.
I don't think Bruce is that dumb, so I'm going to say AU has overreacted like they always will with hoops. The truth is that both schools in this state will throw their hoops programs under the bus if it keeps the NCAA from snooping around their football programs. We will always sacrifice them up, hoping to win favor later if we need it on the football side. We simply don't care enough about basketball to fight for it the same way we would fight for football. If this was a successful football coach recruiting at an elite level bringing us back from a decade of hell we'd stand behind him 100% and do whatever it took to back him up. But in hoops we will cut his legs out from under him anytime we see any pressure coming up at all.
I hate Auburn so much right now.

I've attended games during the Cliff, Lebo, and Barbee years and if BRUCE is let go I legitimately am done following Auburn basketball
