OT: AUBURN BASKETBALL

It’s a display of arrogance and incompetence on such an astounding level it should be studied for years to come, and appreciated for pushing to new heights the boundaries of just how poorly an organization can be run...

BRUCE is the only glimmer of hope that department-wide competence is possible... and these mouthbreathers would rather piss on it and extinguish it entirely than do everything possible to protect and nurture it...

I’ve typed a million words on the subject and haven’t even scratched the surface of my hatred for these people... words don’t exist to properly convey my thoughts

I'm guessing JJ was stopping it. A poster on tbb made a good point and said leath maybe wants to get rid of Bruce and needed a reason so they created an impossible scenario for bruce. They could fire him for something he said when they met or fire him bc he didn't meet.

Their ineptitude and short sightedness is astounding. the thing that makes me the most angry is they don't even know it. So.eone asked if the people inside know they are laughed and mocked, if they know what there word Jaba means, and if they knew "Auburn is having and Auburn week" meant and Tate said they don't. They sit in their little bubble and NEVER hear any criticism agaisnt them and wonder why Auburn hasn't reached its full potential.
It would be if Clemson fans and authorities didn't know what the term "clemsoning" meant. It's astounding.

I can actually see it from Leath’s point of view... he’s new, doesn’t understand the full scope of the AD’s incompetence, and probably thinks firing BRUCE and starting anew is the logical, safest course of action...

I don’t begrudge Leath for ANY of this...

it’s the people who are lying and conniving and misrepresenting and pushing him to fight against BRUCE because they have ulterior motives that need to be taken out of the picture for good... we have people actively working against BRUCE and against Auburn’s best interests... and Leath can’t be blamed for not recognizing it fully

this situation is years - if not generations - in the making... it’s the nugget on top of the shit sundae I’ve warned people about for the better part of 15 years...

none of this is surprising, and that’s the saddest part of all

I am probably wrong about this but my thinking is this. This all goes back to Jet Gate. After Jet Gate, Tubbs would thumb his nose and some of the PTB. Once Tubbs left, they swore they would never cow tail to another Coach. I think the Bruce era has not been a happy marriage behind the scenes and now that Johnny Public knows Bruce is not towing the company line, they are fit to be tied.

Tate is a lyin' sack of festering feces and/or damned incompetent. His statement makes zero sense. There's no way they don't know with as many Twitter handles as they've blocked and e-mails they've received.

Playing around looking at stats for AU players that have transferred..

TJ Lang did not play for USF yesterday.

New Williams is ineligible for Fresno State.

Trayvon Reed played 21 minutes for TXSO against Gonzaga. He scored 13 points on 6-10 shooting and grabbed 7 boards.

Matthew Atewe (now at his third program) played 21 minutes for Pepperdine and scored 4 points and had 4 boards.

Jack Purchase played 33 minutes for Hawai’i and had 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 18 points in a win vs Arkansas Pine Bluff.

Benas Griciunus is now with his third school, Eastern Washington. Played 22 minutes with 5 rebounds and 4 points.

Ronald Delph plays for FAU. Played 31 minutes in a 59-60 loss to USF. Scored 15 points and grabbed 9 boards.

Good stuff bro. I'm surprised T Reed could get those kinda #s against Gonzaga.

On a related note that kid Garrison Brooks is starting for UNC. Got 14/6. Could have used him for sure.

And I think T Reed actually was going to play more, he just got into foul trouble late.

Boogs love having a scapegoat to blame. It’s as simple as Person being an idiot, and now trying to figure out how to handle everything and keep Pearl clean. Wiley getting cleared will be easier than Purifoy, I think
