would be amazing if Bruce has convinced them to stay put and come back next year. That's assuming they're confident that those two can regain eligibility. But with those two back, there'd be legit a lot of national hype around this team next year, and you could argue that waiting a year and being apart of that exposure is what's best for their careers and draft stock.

Yes I’m starting to think it’s a possibility. Their whole family legacy is severely tarnished if young Austin goes out like this. A Natty run would restore it and then some. I’d feel better about the chances if I didn’t keep seeing him pop up in 1st rd mocks.

I'm pretty sure she shows her face on campus for every home game. Absent the FBI sting and Person's stupidity, mamma receiving a little cash would have been just another tree falling with no one to hear it, in a forest full of falling trees.

Welp, that's pretty much a wrap on either of our studs returning this year. Here's to a nice tourney run anyway and having them back next season.
Is that the rumor? With him staying in school it seems like his most likely plan is to hopefully play for AU next season. Really hope it works out
Seems to be the rumor. I think we assumed differently, but that Bruce probably knew at least Purifoy wouldn't be eligible this year, and this will be their peace offering to the NCAA - that he sat out a year.
Long way to go but looking at some mocks this looks like a pretty deep class for bigs. 2019 not looking too hot. Hoping the case can be made Austin is at best a late 1st this year but potential top 15 with another year.

John Petty better really up his game if he’s gonna get drafted in the top 25 like that thing suggests. I’m a Boog homer, but Okeke is a way better nba prospect in my eyes than Petty and I don’t see him anywhere on there

I'll take back the Horace comparison a little bit. Kid hits 3 in this clip and seems to have some decent offensive skill. Still mostly just a big, bouncy, long athlete. Doubt he contributes too much next season but he has a high ceiling for sure

Jared Jones and Issac Okoro are the two I know. I believe there is another D1 guy on their roster.

I don’t think this means we’re clear as a program. I’d think they are working stuff out as a whole but if the appeal option is out there should use it unless there’s an agreement on whatever the NCAA is gonna say about the program and BRUCE.

So they haven't even tried to get Danjel eligible? I'm guessing his is way more complicated and up in the air. Hope he can come back next season.
